Abstract

Abstract The birefringence of rotary photon drags is investigated through induced chiral atomic medium. The birefringence of refractive and group indices, divergent angle and rotary photon drags were controlled and modified with detuning, phases and strength of Rabi frequencies of the driving fields. The value of divergent angle oscillated between ±0.01 radian with phases of control fields φ 3,4 and is minimum at φ 3 = π , while maximum at φ 4 = π . The right and left circularly polarized beams are drag clockwise due clockwise spinning of the medium in the normal dispersive region, while the right and left circularly polarized beams are drag clockwise due anticlockwise spinning of the medium in anomalous dispersive region. The maximum rotary photon drags of birefringent beams of light is calculated to ±5 milli radian. The results show advancement in molecular structure, dual image coding and image designing technology.

Tunnelling based birefringent rotary photon dragging through induced chiral medium

Muhammad Junaid Iqbal Khan, Muhammad Idrees, Bakht Amin Bacha +2 more

Abstract The control and modification of divergence angle and birefringent rotary photon drags under the effect of quantum tunnelling is investigated in this article. The circularly birefringence Δ n = n r ( + ) − n r ( − ) , divergence angle θ d and rotary photon dragging angles θ r ( ± ) are found to have modified with the strength of tunnelling frequencies. The left and right circularly polarized beams show superlominality of group velocities − c /150 and − c /50, respectively, and the divergence angle of 0.050 radian per increment of tunnelling frequency. The maximum of rotary photon drags for both beams is measured θ r ( ± ) = ± 2 micro radian with fractional change of 2%. The output pulses intensities ∣ E out + ( t ) ∣ 2 and ∣ E out − ( t ) ∣ 2 show uniform undistorted shapes with tunnelling frequencies and no energy losses. The results could have significant applications in the fields of quantum optics, photonics, plasmonics and special mode imaging coding technology.

Birefringence of Anomalous Rotary Photon Drag Trough Induced Chiral Atomic Medium.

MUHAMMAD BILAL

Abstract This study examines the phenomenon birefringence of anomalous rotary photon drag in a chiralatomic medium by analyzing the effects on left and right circularly polarized beams. The maximumanomalous rotary photon drags for RCP beam is measured to −6.2 nanoradian and for LCP beamis measured to −11 nanoradian. Detuning and Rabi frequencies of control fields reduce dragon LCP and RCP beams. The anomalous rotary photon drag for RCP beam maximized to −8nanoradian and LCP beam is maximized to −11 nanoradian at the control field Rabi frequency, while at other control Rabi frequency are maximized to −9.5 nanoradian and −30 nanoradianforRCP/LCP beams. The results shows signeficant application imaging coding technology.

Tunnelling based birefringent phase sensitivity through dynamic chiral medium

Syed Muhammad Arif, Bakht Amin Bacha, Umer Wahid +2 more

Abstract The absorption coefficients, refractive/group indices, phase shifts and fractional change of birefringence beams through dynamic chiral atomic medium are investigated under the effect of quantum tunnelling. The birefringence of phase indices Δ n = n r ( + ) − n r ( − ) and group indices Δ n g = n g ( + ) − n g ( − ) are controlled and modified through induced dynamic chiral medium by tunnelling effect. The group indices n g ( ± ) = ± 500 and group velocities v g ( ± ) = ± c / 500 are reported with the tunnelling effect. The maximum change in birefringent phase shifts is calculated to 5 microradian with tunnelling frequency at a speed of v = 10 cm/s of the chiral medium in the right circularly polarized (RCP) and left circularly polarized (LCP) beams. A 60% fractional change in the phase shift of RCP and LCP beams are investigated through induced chiral medium when the medium is at rest and when it is moving with the speed of v = 10 cm/s. These results will play an important role in scatterplate phase shifting interferometry.

Abstract The structured rotary photon drag is generated in a multiple‐level atomic medium driven by a probe and many control fields. The rotary photon drag is affected by the topological charges () of control fields. Both normal and abnormal rotary photon drag are described. According to the condition in the medium, normal and anomalous rotary photon drag are enhanced. The highest value of normal rotary photon drag is investigated to radian, and the highest value of anomalous rotary photon drag is investigated to radian in the position range of . Coherent Manipulation and Magnitude of Optical Force in Chiral Medium

Iqbal Hussain, Asghar Ali, Nassir Alarifi +2 more

The study investigate control of the optical force and its modification with variation of the driving field’s strength in the system levels of the chiral medium for left and right circular polarized light. In addition to orbital and magnetic and spin quantum numbers of applied fields, significant vector field arrows of optical force in chiral media are examined using spatial coordinates, detuning , Rabi frequency and decay rates. The parameters of the probe and control fields’ detuning along with their decay rates and phases are provided to determine the optical force in chiral medium both for left and right circularly polarized fields. The optical force is a function of orbital, magnetic and spin quantum numbers. Using phase, detuning, and Rabi frequency of the control fields as variables, the minimum value of optical force measure is 0.003pN for probe detuning and spatial coordinate while the maximum value of optical force for normalized detuning and transverse radial coordinate is measured to be 0.2pN. Potential uses of optical force in fundamental optics, molecular physics, optomechanics, material science, nanoscience, quantum physics, radar, waveguide, antennas and optical tweezers technology are demonstrated by the results.

Combining six superluminal and subluminal structured light fields with right and left circular polarizations in a chiral medium through superposition

Muhammad Bilal, Vakkar Ali, Tareq Saeed +1 more

The structured vector fields of circularly polarized light , comprising both left and right (RCP and LCP) beams superposed in the atomic medium are investigated in this work. At resonance in the anomalous/normal dispersion area, both RCP and LCP beams with a non-negative and non-positive group index of ± 40 have been recorded. RCP and LCP beam group velocities are enhanced to ± 1 . 5 × 1 0 9 m / s at δ = 0 . 15 Γ , that is surpassing the speed of light in vacuum, denoted as ”c” leading to superluminal propagation. The RCP is superluminal and the LCP subluminal at the resonance point of the probe field. The group delay for The LCP beam is positive and the RCP beam is non-positive. The worth of the group delay for RCP and LCP beams varies to ± 4 n s . The superposing structured vectors field of superluminal and subluminal circularly polarized light beams on the right and left E R , L ( r , φ ) are strong variation function of detuning of probe field δ / Γ , Rabi frequency of control field Λ 3 / Γ and phase of collective driving fields φ . The results are useful for the modification of powerful computers.
