Abstract

Abstract We introduce and study a quantum channel that arises from the structure of the vacuum state of Dirac fields propagating in a Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger ( $$\mathrm {GHS}$$ GHS ) dilation black hole spacetime. We put forward the concept of quantum information divergence, which is a new measure for relativistic parameter estimation. We employ quantum metrology to estimate the amplitude and relative phase of a Dirac field state using the quantum Fisher information and information divergence. The decoherence of quantum parameter estimation is studied through the evolution of the Bloch vector for arbitrary initial states subjected to the quantum channel and external noises. We find that the quantum information divergence decreases more than the quantum Fisher information as a function of the radiation temperature. Due to the Pauli exclusion principle and Dirac statistics, the estimation precision will gradually decrease to a non-zero value. In order to study the decoherence in the dilation black hole, we obtain the monotonic decrease of quantum coherence when an initial field evolves from the highly correlated state to the current cosmic background. The external noises can further suppress the decoherence effect from the black hole.

Quantum Fisher information of a qubit-qutrit system in Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilation space–time

Yi-Jun Lian, Jin‐Ming Liu

Abstract We investigate the quantum Fisher information (QFI) of a qubit-qutrit system in the background of Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilation black hole. After deriving the analytical expression of the QFI, we examine its dynamics with respect to the dilation parameter D and the state parameter γ of the system. Our results show that the QFI for the estimation of γ is a fixed value, which is independent of the parameters D and γ . And the QFI for the estimation of D varies with the parameters D and γ . Additionally, we propose an effective strategy to steer the QFI by introducing weak measurement reversal. We find that the QFI can be remarkably enhanced by adjusting the appropriate reversing measurement strengths. Our findings might provide some useful insights for the study on parameter estimation of hybrid systems in the framework of relativity theory.

Entropic Uncertainty Relation for Dirac Particles in Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger Dilation Space–Time

Zuo-Yuan Zhang, Jin‐Ming Liu, Zhengfeng Hu +1 more

Abstract The quantum‐memory‐assisted entropic uncertainty relation for Dirac particles in the background of a Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger (GHS) dilation black hole is investigated, and the relationship between the entropy uncertainty and the quantum entanglement of a hybrid qubit–qutrit state in the GHS space–time analyzed. The results show that the physically accessible uncertainty increases while the inaccessible uncertainty decreases as the dilation parameter of the black hole enhances. Moreover, the evolution behavior of the uncertainty is inversely correlated with that of the entanglement between the quantum memory and the particle to be measured. Meanwhile, a method to steer the entropic uncertainty with the technique of weak measurement reversal is proposed. It is found that the uncertainty can be reduced effectively by adjusting the appropriate measurement strength. These findings may lead to a deeper understanding of entropy uncertainty dynamics, as well as its steering in a curved space–time.

Measurement-induced-nonlocality for Dirac particles in Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger dilation space–time

Juan He, Shuai Xu, Liu Ye

We investigate the quantum correlation via measurement-induced-nonlocality (MIN) for Dirac particles in Garfinkle–Horowitz–Strominger (GHS) dilation space–time. It is shown that the physical accessible quantum correlation decreases as the dilation parameter increases monotonically. Unlike the case of scalar fields, the physical accessible correlation is not zero when the Hawking temperature is infinite owing to the Pauli exclusion principle and the differences between Fermi–Dirac and Bose–Einstein statistics. Meanwhile, the boundary of MIN related to Bell-violation is derived, which indicates that MIN is more general than quantum nonlocality captured by the violation of Bell-inequality. As a by-product, a tenable quantitative relation about MIN redistribution is obtained whatever the dilation parameter is. In addition, it is worth emphasizing that the underlying reason why the physical accessible correlation and mutual information decrease is that they are redistributed to the physical inaccessible regions.

Decoherence of Dirac‐Quantumness for Open Particles in a Dilatonic Black Hole

Cheng‐Jun Yao, Kai Yan, Quanying Wu +2 more

Abstract The quantumness of Dirac particles for quantized fields in a dilatonic black hole is estimated by means of quantum channel. A general Bloch vector representation of quantum channel in black hole spacetimes beyond single mode approximation is developed. The nonclassicality of Dirac particles can be measured by the minimization of quantum coherence over all orthonormal basis sets. The quantumness of the channel decreases as the dilaton field increases. The interplay between the external reservoir noise and dilaton black hole on the dynamical behavior of quantum coherence and steerability is investigated in the Pauli basis. The external environment is modeled by a random telegraph noise channel. The monotonous decay of quantum nonlocality occurs in the weak coupling case. The degradation and revival of quantum nonlocality are observed in the strong coupling condition. It is found that quantum fluctuation effects of the external reservoir can protect quantum coherence and steerability from the information loss of the black hole.

Entropic uncertainty relation in Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger dilation black hole

Fariba Shahbazi, Soroush Haseli, Hazhir Dolatkhah +1 more

Heisenberg's uncertainty principle is a fundamental element in quantum mechanics. It sets a bound on our ability to predict the measurement outcomes of two incompatible observables simultaneously. In quantum information theory, the uncertainty principle can be expressed using entropic measures. The entropic uncertainty relation can be improved by considering an additional particle as a memory particle. The presence of quantum correlation between the memory particle and the measured particle reduces the uncertainty. In a curved space-time, the presence of the Hawking radiation can reduce quantum correlation. Therefore, concerning the relationship between the quantum correlation and entropic uncertainty lower bound, we expect that the Hawking radiation increases the entropic uncertainty lower bound. In this work, we investigate the entropic uncertainty relation in Garfinkle-Horowitz-Strominger (GHS) dilation black hole. We consider a model in which the memory particle is located near the event horizon outside the black hole, while the measured particle is free falling. To study the proposed model, we will consider examples with Dirac fields. We also explore the effect of the Hawking radiation on the quantum secret key rate.

Probing quantum Fisher information of an open Dirac system with Hawking effect in the Schwarzschild black hole

B. J. Falaye, Muhammad Sanusi Liman

Abstract The unavoidable interaction of a real quantum system with the environment leads to the degradation of quantum coherence. Consequently, this paper investigates how such interaction can influence the quantum Fisher information (QFI) with the Hawking effect in the Schwarzschild black hole. We have considered two models of quantum decoherence: amplitude damping and phase damping channels; both can be experimentally induced. We found that Quantum information F ϕ is more robust to phase flip channel than to the amplitude damping channel. It is observed that under the influence of phase damping channel, Quantum information F θ does not depend on Hawking temperature making the parameter estimation immune to the Hawking effect but susceptible to decoherence. We found that QFI dwindles with increasing Hawking temperature and becomes more attenuated with decoherence which implies that the parameter estimation can be achieved with higher precision when the black hole is not evaporating.
