Abstract

This study presents the solutions of Schrödinger equation for the Non-Central Generalized Inverse Quadratic Yukawa Potential within the framework of Nikiforov-Uvarov. The radial and angular part of the Schrödinger equation are obtained using the method of variable separation. More so, the bound states energy eigenvalues and corresponding eigenfunctions are obtained analytically. Numerical results were obtained for the Generalized Inverse Quadratic Yukawa Potential for comparison sake. It was found out that our results agree with existing literature.

Exact solutions of the Schrödinger equation with non-central potential by the Nikiforov–Uvarov method

F Yaşuk, C Berkdemir, A Berkdemir

The general solutions of the Schrödinger equation for a non-central potential are obtained by using the Nikiforov–Uvarov method. The Schrödinger equation with general non-central potential is separated into radial and angular parts, and energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are derived analytically. By making special selections, the non-central potential is reduced to Coulomb and Hartmann ring-shaped potentials, and the obtained results are compared with the solutions of Coulomb and Hartmann potentials given in the literature.

Eigensolution and Expectation Values of the Hulthen and Generalized Inverse Quadratic Yukawa Potential

Abstract: In this study, the Schrödinger equation was solved with a superposition of the Hulthen potential and generalized inverse quadratic Yukawa potential model using the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. For completeness, we also calculated the wave function. To validate our results, the numerical bound state energy eigenvalues was computed for various principal n and angular momentum l quantum numbers. With the aid of the Hellmann-Feynman theorem, the expressions for the expectation values of the square of inverse of position, r^(-2), inverse of position, r^(-1), kinetic energy, T ̂ and square of momentum, p ̂ are calculated. By adjusting the potential parameters, special cases of the potential were considered, resulting in Generalized Inverse Quadratic Yukawa potential, Hulthen potential, Coulomb potential, Kratzer potential, Inversely Quadratic Yukawa potential and Coulomb plus inverse square potential, respectively. Their energy eigenvalue expressions and numerical computations agreed with the literature. Approximate bound state solutions of nonrelativistic Schrödinger equation with q-deformed Hulthen plus modified inversely quadratic Yukawa potential within the framework of Nikiforov-Uvarov method

We study the nonrelativistic Schrödinger equation for q-deformed Hulthen plus modified inversely quadratic Yukawa potential using the generalized parametric form of NIkiforov-Uvarov method. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding normalized wave functions expressed in terms of hypergeometric function are obtained. We have also discussed four (4) special cases of this potential, i.e. Woods-Saxon, Hulthen, Morse and inversely quadratic potentials. Keywords: Nonrelativistic Schrödinger equation, q-deformed Hulthen potential, modified inversely quadratic Yukawa potential, parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method.

Non-Relativistic Bound State Solutions of Modified Quadratic Yukawa plus q-Deformed Eckart Potential

Akaninyene Daniel Antia, I. B. Okon, Akaninyene Okon Akankpo +1 more

We have obtained approximate bound state solutions of Schrödinger wave equation with modified quadratic Yukawa plus q-deformed Eckart potential Using Parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. However, we obtained numerical energy eigenvalues and un-normalized wave function using confluent hypergeometric function (Jacobi polynomial). With some modifications, our potential reduces to a well-known potential such as Poschl-Teller and exponential inversely quadratic potential. Numerical bound state energies were carried out using a well-designed Matlab algorithm while the plots were obtained using origin software. The result obtained is in agreement with that of the existing literature.

Approximate Bound State Solutions for Certain Molecular Potentials

Mahmoud Farout, Mohammed Yasin, Sameer M. Ikhdair

We present solutions of the Schrodinger equation with superposition of Manning-Rosen plus inversely Mobius square plus quadratic Yukawa potentials using parametric Nikiforov Uvarov method along with an approximation to the centrifugal term. The bound state energy eigenvalues for any angular momentum quantum number l and the corresponding un-normalized wave functions are calculated. The mixed potential which in some particular cases gives the solutions for different potentials: the Manning-Rosen, the Mobius square, the inversely quadratic Yukawa and the Hulthén potentials along with their bound state energies are obtained.
