Abstract

We present solutions of the Schrodinger equation with superposition of Manning-Rosen plus inversely Mobius square plus quadratic Yukawa potentials using parametric Nikiforov Uvarov method along with an approximation to the centrifugal term. The bound state energy eigenvalues for any angular momentum quantum number l and the corresponding un-normalized wave functions are calculated. The mixed potential which in some particular cases gives the solutions for different potentials: the Manning-Rosen, the Mobius square, the inversely quadratic Yukawa and the Hulthén potentials along with their bound state energies are obtained.

Eigensolution and Expectation Values of the Hulthen and Generalized Inverse Quadratic Yukawa Potential

Abstract: In this study, the Schrödinger equation was solved with a superposition of the Hulthen potential and generalized inverse quadratic Yukawa potential model using the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. For completeness, we also calculated the wave function. To validate our results, the numerical bound state energy eigenvalues was computed for various principal n and angular momentum l quantum numbers. With the aid of the Hellmann-Feynman theorem, the expressions for the expectation values of the square of inverse of position, r^(-2), inverse of position, r^(-1), kinetic energy, T ̂ and square of momentum, p ̂ are calculated. By adjusting the potential parameters, special cases of the potential were considered, resulting in Generalized Inverse Quadratic Yukawa potential, Hulthen potential, Coulomb potential, Kratzer potential, Inversely Quadratic Yukawa potential and Coulomb plus inverse square potential, respectively. Their energy eigenvalue expressions and numerical computations agreed with the literature. "We present solutions of the Schrödinger equation with modified Hylleraas plus exponential Rosen Morse potential within the framework of the elegant approximation to deal with the centrifugal term for arbitrary orbital angular quantum number. We obtain the energy spectrum and the corresponding wave function using the parametric form of the Nikiforov-Uvarov method. In many cases of interest the energy eigenvalues and eigen functions have been discussed for different potentials."

Approximate l-state solutions of the D-dimensional Schrödinger equation for Manning-Rosen potential

Sameer M. Ikhdair, R. Sever

The Schrödinger equation in D-dimensions for the Manning-Rosen potential with the centrifugal term is solved approximately to obtain bound states eigensolutions (eigenvalues and eigenfunctions). The Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method is used in the calculations. We present numerical calculations of energy eigenvalues to two-and four-dimensional systems for arbitrary quantum numbers n and l with three different values of the potential parameter α.It is shown that because of the interdimensional degeneracy of eigenvalues, we can also reproduce eigenvalues of a upper/lower dimensional sytem from the well-known eigenvalues of a lower/upper dimensional system by means of the transformation (n, l, D) → (n, l ± 1, D ∓ 2)..This solution reduces to the Hulthén potential case.

We study the nonrelativistic Schrödinger equation for q-deformed Hulthen plus modified inversely quadratic Yukawa potential using the generalized parametric form of NIkiforov-Uvarov method. The energy eigenvalues and the corresponding normalized wave functions expressed in terms of hypergeometric function are obtained. We have also discussed four (4) special cases of this potential, i.e. Woods-Saxon, Hulthen, Morse and inversely quadratic potentials. Bound state solutions of the Klein-Fock-Gordon equation with the sum of Manning-Rosen potential and Yukawa potential within SUSYQM

A. I. Ahmadov, M. Demirci, S. M. Aslanova

Abstract In this study, the bound state solutions of the Klein-Fock-Gordon equation are examined for the sum of Manning-Rosen and Yukawa potential by using a recent improved scheme to deal with the centrifugal term. For any l ≠ 0, the energy eigenvalues and corresponding radial wave functions are determined under the condition of equal scalar and vector potentials. In order to obtain bound state solutions, we use two different methods called supersymmetric quantum mechanics (SUSYQM) and Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) methods. The identical expressions for the energy eigenvalues are obtained, and the expression of radial wave functions transformations to each other is revealed via both methods. For arbitrary l states, the energy levels and the corresponding normalized eigenfunctions are given in terms of the Jacobi polynomials. A closed form of the normalized wave function is also obtained. It is seen that the energy eigenvalues and eigenfunctions are sensitive to nr radial and l orbital quantum numbers.
