Relativistic entanglement and the Theory of Dilated Locality

Abstract

Since his famous discussions with Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein considered quantum entanglement (QE) as a spooky action at a distance, due to the violation of locality necessary for the state of the particle entangled with its companion to share at same a distance, in such a way that if a notification that is not local but instantaneous could only cover that space at a speed superior to that of light. The Theory of Relativity (TR) with Quantum Theory (QT) would face a direct consequence of this; turning QE into the bone of contention between both theories, which are no more than the pillars of Physics. Contrary to predictions, in this work we will see that QE is the meeting point of both theories, so much so, that QE could be considered as the cornerstone of the Theory of Everything (TOE). Consistent with this, the entangled particles retain certain autonomy unknown to date, and in addition, they have relativistically entangled alter egos, which will hold the effect even when the original entangled particles are extremely separated from each other. These alter-egos can be considered as black holes (with their corresponding temperature and entropy) giving rise to a wormhole. This is possible since the locality dilates according to the Lorentz factor, which is accompanied by a contraction in the effective channel and in the temporal delay to cross that channel. All this takes place while space-time is curved (hyperspace) to generate the wormhole between both black holes. In other words, QE is a local effect of infinite range so it does not outpace the speed of light, and therefore QT is a complete theory that does not clash with TR. Finally, everything we have said has direct consequences on the link between entangled particles from the point of view of quantum communications in terms of the channel and its bandwidth, latency, capacity, robustness and security.

Since his famous discussions with Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein considered quantum entanglement (QE) as a spooky action at a distance, due to the violation of locality necessary so that two entangled particles can share this effect in an instantaneous way despite of being at a great distance from each other, i.e., not being local. In other words, a notification about the change of state in one of them could only cover the space that separates them at a speed superior to that of light, which we know is impossible according to the Theory of Relativity (TR). Besides, QE faces directly the two main pillars of Physics: TR and Quantum Theory (QT); becoming the bone of contention between both theories. Quite the contrary, in this work we will see that QE is the meeting point of both theories, so much so, that QE could be considered as the cornerstone of the Theory of Everything (TOE). Research on the Quantum Entanglement Mechanism

Xiangyao Wu, Benshan Wu

A quantum entangled state is a quantum superposition state. The principle of quantum superposition, and therefore the existence of quantum entanglement, is contingent upon the validity of quantum theory. Thus, the generation of quantum entanglement requires that interactions occur between small-mass particles localized in a confined spatial region, resulting in each particle’s quantum state being a bound state. In other words, the prerequisite for the validity of quantum theory must be satisfied. At the same time, conserved quantities must exist between quantum superposition states, as only quantum states with conserved quantities can undergo superposition, allowing the particle system to generate quantum entangled states. Quantum entangled states can occur between electrons within an atom, between atoms, between molecules, or between atoms and molecules. Within the atomic nucleus, quantum entanglement can exist among protons, neutrons, and the quarks. In superconductivity, superfluidity, and Bose-Einstein condensation, they manifest as macroscopic quantum entanglement, which respectively come from the statistical results of a large amount of microscopic quantum entanglement between electrons, atoms or molecules. For massive macroscopic objects, they exhibit classical properties that cannot be described by quantum theory, and the principle of quantum superposition does not hold. Therefore, no entangled state is generated. It should be particularly emphasized that even for microscopic particle systems, if they exist in a large spatial region, they cannot be described by quantum theory. In such cases, the quantum superposition principle does not hold, and quantum entanglement phenomena do not exist. Therefore, within a large spatial region, multi-electron, multi-photon, and other microscopic systems do not have quantum entangled states; under certain conditions, quantum correlated states can be generated. Consequently, in a large spatial region, the mainstream viewpoints about non-locality—such as the so-called instantaneous collapse of entangled particles during measurement, infinite propagation speed, and the “spooky action at a distance”—are all incorrect. In experiments related to quantum communication and the verification of Bell’s inequality, the quantum states used are quantum correlated states rather than quantum entangled states. Regardless of whether the systems are microscopic or macroscopic, phenomena occurring in a large spatial region must adhere to the principles of causality, realism, and locality. In other words, Einstein’s viewpoint is correct.

Every Entangled Stuff Has Its Own Avatar

Mario Mastriani

During the last century, entanglement was the bone of contention between the two main pillars of Physics: General Relativity (GR) and Quantum Mechanics (QM). This began in 1935 with the Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen paradox (EPR paradox) which concluded that although Quantum Mechanics is not wrong, it is an incomplete theory to represent physical reality. In this paper it is demonstrated that some byproducts resulting from entanglement and which we will call avatars act as a hinge that link both theories making the completeness of QM clear. Moreover, a thorough analysis of the non-locality of this effect will be carried out. Besides, it is demonstrated that entanglement is an instantaneous phenomenon and that it does not require the use of a superluminal signaling for this purpose. Finally, the avatars will also appear in each wormhole resulting from an entanglement process (WREP) demonstrating that they are traversable with an equivalent path of null length which can be crossed in a null time with all that this implies in Quantum Communications.

On the Quantum Entanglement Reinterpretation Using the Time as Real Instantaneous Signal Field

Elsadig Naseraddeen Ahmed Mohamed

In relativistic mechanics the time-like vector characterize the motion in spacetime with speed faster than the speed of light in vacuum c in which the line element ds2=c2dt2-dx2-dx2-dz2 is less than zero (where is infinitesimal change in time, and are infinitesimal change in space), thus the time in relativistic mechanics can instantaneously flow [1], however in quantum mechanics although the time is treated as unobservable parameter (without any Hermitian observable operator have engine-value equivalent to time) any two physical quantity described by two non-commuting observable operatorsand fulfill , the knowledge of one immediately produce the knowledge of the other [2], thus in quantum mechanics if two particles interacted in finite temporal epoch and then separated in space the gaining of knowledge by the local measurement of physical quantity runs on one them (for example the measurement of spin direction of one particle using Stern-Gerlach experiment) immediately produce the knowledge of the complementary physical quantity of the other particle (for example the opposite spin direction of the other particle), this simply called quantum entanglement the concept that so much advanced after publication of the Jon Bell’s 1964 celebrated paper [3] in which he illustrated that we can add parameters to quantum mechanics to determine the results of individual measurements, without changing the statistical predictions, and then he conclude “there must be a mechanism whereby the setting of one measuring device can influence the reading of another instrument, however remote. Moreover, the signal involved must propagate instantaneously so that such a theory could not be Lorentz invariant”. The question now what these signals that can propagate instantaneously? The answer in this paper will be the time signals field which is defined for each constituent matter particle M and at each space point P as the measure of the total length of all occupation and leaving epochs of P by M which is representing a sequence function compactly supported only at the space point occupied by it and indexed by the number of occupation epochs of P by M, thus the flow of this time signal field from the far future to near future through the present to the near past to the far past inferable by the flow of matter particles constituting the system(such as sun, moon earth and clocks hands). Thus the present will represent in this paper a local absolute feature of time signals field defined at each space point as the set of all occupation epochs of it by matter particle, however the past and future will represent relativistic non-local features of the time signal field defined at each space point as a set of all leaving epochs between each two sequential occupation epochs, so the future after one occupation epoch is representing a past of the next one. Thus according to current representation of time, the two Mc-Taggard’s A and B series of time [4] will exist together as temporal set and then the time is real, the A-series in current theory is a set of all occupation and leaving epochs of space point by the matter particle that is consisting of the present, past and future epochs, and the B-series is the set of all leaving epochs of space points between each two sequential occupation epochs which are taking position before or after the discrete occupation epochs between them and then before or after each other.

Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity are compatible, and have a common origin: the expanding (hyper) balloon universe

Subhajit Waugh

Please download the paper and then read the abstract (since crucial formulas are not appearing in this window, and also hyperlinks are not working). This is just a brief overview: Relativity is inside the light cone phenomena, while Quantum Mechanics is outside the light cone phenomena, dictated just by the scale (i.e. whether we use classical/human scale or sub-atomic scale). This recent paper [ ‘ Quantum principle of relativity’; Andrzej Dragan, Artur Ekert, New. J. Phys. 22 (2020) 033098] has shown that every exotic Quantum effect like superposition, entanglement, probabilistic behavior, multiple paths etc. can be explained just by allowing super-luminal possibility. The 'inside the light cone' phenomena, and the 'outside the light cone' phenomena together span the entire region within the space and time axes. Only in unison they complete the entire picture. We failed to realize that the same spacetime is getting split into 'space like' and 'time like’ regions based on scale. And the reason behind this is not the magical ( ? ) speed of light. That would have turned both relativity and quantum mechanics into mere branches of electromagnetism. The true reason is much deeper and at a very fundamental level of our universe. It turns out that the c is the radial expansion velocity of our universe. But why does the transition from Relativity to Quantum Mechanics happens with decreasing size scale? That’s because, this is what is happens to spatial and temporal dimensions at different scales: 3+1 (Classical regime) <=> 2+2 (Compton regime) <=> 1+3 (Planck regime). Just as space and time exchange roles at the event horizon of a Black Hole, similarly, spatial and temporal dimensions switch roles for extremely small scales (although due to a completely different mechanism). Why this happens is difficult to expalin without the true model of our universe. But, once explained, it becomes "Why didn't I think about it before? I was plain silly!" From the center of universe viewpoint, simultaneity is absolute (as demanded by Sagnac effect), and there is indeed absolute universal time (as demanded by quantum mechanics). From our viewpoint (located at an awkward position in the universe), locality is absolute, and velocity c is the upper limit, and remains constant for every observer. This turns (our) space and time into inseparable twins, and makes (our) time a relative concept. This solves the time problem which had so stubbornly resisted the reconciliation of Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity. Quantum Mechanics and Special Relativity are like two sides of the same coin. But understanding the relation between Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity is a bit tricky, because according to General Relativity, gravity is the warping/curvature of the 4 dimensional spacetime itself. At first sight, Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity seem to be utterly incompatible! But actually, Special Relativity’s big brother General Relativity only complicates things a bit, but does not become inconsistent with Quantum Mechanics altogether. The only difference between the warped spacetime of General Relativity, and the flat spacetime of Special Relativity is very similar to the difference between a stretched rubber membrane, with and without a metal ball placed on it. This paper does not sacrifice any of the spectacular success of General Relativity and also does not compromise with any of the stunningly accurate predictions of Quantum Mechanics. And yet, this paper harmoniously brings Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity together. Just bear in mind that Nature simply cannot afford to make our two greatest theories incompatible. After all, both General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics were based on what nature was actually telling us, and nature herself would be accountable for any genuine contradiction (but not for the breakdown of our physics due to our misunderstanding!). And, by the way, this paper solves some of the most pressing problems in both Physics & Cosmology. The 'Principle of Least Action' which comes closest to a 'Theory of Everything' arises as a direct consequence of better SpaceTime theory proposed in this paper. Also, we can see why the symmetries of nature (which gives rise to the crucial conservation principles in Physics according to the Noether's theorems) arises in the first place. Gentle reminder: Please download the paper and then read the abstract.
