Quantum image steganography is one of the important research branches of quantum secure communications. In this paper, a large payload quantum image steganography protocol based on quantum image expansion and the Grover search algorithm is proposed. The new algorithm adopts quantum log-polar image (QUALPI) representation to prepare the quantum image before introducing a quantum expansion technique to form the superposition of multiple image copies with the same size angle difference as the carrier. Then, it embeds a secret message into one quantum image copy with a specific rotation angle encoded. In order to accurately extract the secret message embedded, the Grover search algorithm is used to locate the correct quantum image copy. Based on the quantum uncertainty and quantum non-cloning theorems, the new algorithm can not only achieve good imperceptibility and security but also large payload due to the algorithm's good coding scalability. The experimental results by performing MATLAB simulation prove the conclusions.

In the healthcare cyber, the transmission of information between the head office and each sub-branch has always been a very important process. However, with the continuous development of network technology in recent years, its security has also been subjected to greater and greater tests. Based on quantum image expansion technology and Grover search algorithm, this paper proposes a more secure and large-capacity secure information transmission protocol for healthcare cyber. The new protocol embeds the secret information through three layers and encrypts it at the same time. Finally, the secret information is transmitted through quantum channel in the form of quantum state, which has very high security. At the same time, the new protocol is essentially a novel quantum image steganography protocol. The imperceptibility of the steganography protocol is essentially a higher level of security, which can effectively avoid various attacks and further guarantee the security of the information transmission process.
As one of important research branches of quantum information hiding, quantum steganography embeds secret information into quantum images for covert communication by integrating quantum secure communication technology and classical steganography. In this paper, based on the novel enhanced quantum representation (NEQR), a novel quantum steganography algorithm is proposed to transfer secret information by virtue of quantum watermarked image. In order to achieve this goal, the least significant qubit (LSQb) of quantum carrier image is replaced with the secret information by implementing quantum circuit. Compared with the previous quantum steganography algorithms, the communicating parties can recover the secret information tampered, meanwhile the tampers can be located effectively. In the experiment result, the peak signal-to-noise ratios (PSNRs) are calculated for different quantum watermarked images and quantum watermarks, which demonstrate the imperceptibility of the algorithm is good and the secret information embedded can be recovered by virtue of its self-adaptive mechanism.
With the development of quantum computer and quantum network, the security of quantum images has been becoming more and more important in the 21st century. In this paper, a high efficient and robust quantum watermarking algorithm is proposed to better protect copyright of quantum images, which is based on quantum log-polar image (QUALPI) representation model, matrix coding and the least significant qubit (LSQb) modification technique. By taking advantage of QUALPI representation model’s two important properties, i.e., rotation and scale invariances, the new algorithm makes quantum watermark image extracted having a good robustness when stego image was subjected to geometric attacks, such as rotation and scaling. In addition, by adopting matrix coding and the LSQb modification technique, the new algorithm can achieve great transparency for high embedding efficiency and low modification rate. Experimental simulation based on MATLAB shows that the new algorithm has a good performance on robustness and transparency as the conclusions.
Embedding secret information into quantum carrier image for covert communication is one of significant research fields of quantum secure communication. Using good imperceptibility and high embedding efficiency of matrix coding, this paper proposes a novel matrix coding-based quantum steganography algorithm for quantum color images. In order to better apply matrix coding in actual demand, two different embedding methods are proposed. One embedding method is single pixel-embedded (1, 3, 2) coding, called SPE (1, 3, 2) coding for short. This method embeds two qubits of secret information into three least significant qubits (LSQbs) of a single pixel of quantum carrier image, and at most only one LSQb would be changed. The other embedding method is the multiple pixels-embedded (1, 3, 2) coding, called MPsE (1, 3, 2) coding, in which three LSQbs of multiple carrier pixels are utilized to embed two secret qubits. On account of experimental simulation obtained in the MATLAB environment, it shows that the new algorithm has good performance in the imperceptibility, the security, the embedding efficiency, and the embedding capacity.
With the development of Globe Energy Internet, quantum steganography has been used for information hiding to improve copyright protection. Based on secure quantum communication protocol, and flexible steganography, secret information is embedded in quantum images in covert communication. Under the premise of guaranteeing the quality of the quantum image, the secret information is transmitted safely with virtue of good imperceptibility. A novel quantum watermark algorithm is proposed in the paper, based on the shared group key value of the communication parties and the transmission of the selected carrier map pixel gray higher than 8 bits. According to the shared group key value of the communication parties, the two effective Bell state qubits of the carried quantum streak image are replaced with secret information. Compared with the existing algorithms, the new algorithm improves the robustness of the secret information itself and the execution efficiency of its embedding and extraction. Experimental simulation and performance analysis also show that the novel algorithm has an excellent performance in transparency, robustness and embedded capacity.
The concept of Cryptography and Steganography is not a new technique, even though it is ancient but not static. In Cryptography and Steganography the new emerging techniques are done using Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Physics. In this paper, mainly works on how to use Quantum Technique in cryptography system and in field of steganography. Steganography is a process of hiding information of the different types of media files (audio, text, image and video) in another media files. In this paper, mainly the quantum steganography works for two imagery files. The quantum secret image will be hiding in the Quantum Cover image. In this process of hiding of information or image, need to select the pixels. The Qbits used to store the secret image are two most and least significant Qbits. The secret image will be scrambled first, using Arnold’s cat map technique, and then will be embedded into Quantum Cover picture. The Stegno Image is sufficient to extract the secret information. The NEQR quantum representation model is used for converting image into quantum states. The simulation result and analysis demonstrates that the proposed scheme has good visibility and high embedding capacity.
