Abstract

Since the first protocol of quantum teleportation based on an EPR pair was presented by Bennett et al. in 1993, it has become a hot topic in quantum communication. It is known that entanglement plays a key role in quantum teleportation. Various schemes of controlled quantum teleportation and bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation have been developed by using all kinds of multi-parties entangled states as a quantum channel, e.g. GHZ states, W states, 5-qubit cluster states, 6-qubit cluster states, 7-qubit cluster states, maximally entangled 5-qubit states, maximally entangled 6-qubit states, genuine entangled 6-qubit states, genuine entangled 7-qubit states, genuine entangled 8-qubit states. In this paper, a genuine entangled 9-qubit state is used as channel of quantum teleportation, and two schemes of bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation are proposed. One scheme is that with the control of Charlie Alice can transmit an arbitrary unknown qubit state to Bob and Bob can transmit an arbitrary unknown 3-qubit state to Alice in the same time. Another scheme is that with the control of Charlie Alice and Bob can transmit an arbitrary unknown 2-qubit to each other simultaneously. Compared with the existed schemes, our scheme can transmit more qubits of arbitrary state in total by an entangled state, and the intrinsic efficiency of our scheme is maybe the best. Moreover, the genuine entangled 9-qubit state used in our scheme can be produced through some simple quantum unitary gates.

Bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation of two-qubit states via an eight-qubit entangled channel

Hao Yuan, Ming-Wu Chen, Ming Fang

Abstract Using an eight-qubit entangled state as the quantum channel, we propose a novel bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation scheme involving three participants: a controller, Charlie, and two communicators, Alice and Bob. Alice can teleport an arbitrary two-qubit target entangled state to Bob, while Bob simultaneously teleports another two-qubit entangled target state back to Alice conditional on Charlie’s authorization and assistance. Compared with some existing schemes, the proposed scheme achieves higher intrinsic efficiency with lower operation complexity. Moreover, this scheme is practically feasible with currently available quantum technologies.

Asymmetric Bidirectional Controlled Quantum Teleportation of Three- and Four-Qubit States

Zhiying Feng

In this paper, we theoretically realize bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation by using ten-qubit entangled state method. This paper uses a case to introduce the specific process of realizing quantum teleportation: Alice sends an unknown four-qubit GHZ state to Bob, and Bob sends an arbitrary three-qubit GHZ state to Alice. In addition, Charlie controls the transfer to ensure the integrity of the protocol. A ten-qubit quantum channel is constructed and used in this paper. Then, the unitary matrix transformation is used to complete the communication protocol. The research results show that the communication protocol constructed in this paper is more efficient than most communication protocols.

Bidirectional Quantum Teleportation by Using Six-Qubit Cluster State

Ri‐Gui Zhou, Ruiqing Xu, Hou Lan

Quantum teleportation is considered as the most basic process of quantum communication. It is undoubtedly beneficial for the realization of quantum teleportation while transmitting the maximum number of quantum bits with the minimum number of quantum channel resources. An improved bidirectional quantum teleportation protocol based on a quantum channel of six-qubit cluster state is proposed. In this paper, the user Alice can transmit an unknown three-qubit entangled state to the user Bob, and at the same time, the user Bob can transmit an arbitrary single-qubit state to the user Alice by utilizing GHz-state measurement, bell-state measurement, single-qubit Von Neumann measurement, and unitary operations. Compared with other schemes in quantum resource consumption, necessary operation complexity including operation difficulty and intensity, classical resource consumption, quantum information bits transmitted, and intrinsic efficiency, our scheme has the remarkable advantages in transmitting more quantum information and possesses higher intrinsic efficiency.

Bidirectional Controlled Teleportation of Two-qubit and Three-qubit State via Nine-qubit Entangled State

Jinwei Wang

In this paper, a bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation via a nine-qubit entangled state is given. In this scheme, Alice wants to teleport a two-qubit entangled state to Bob and Bob wants to teleport arbitrary three-qubit state to Alice at the same time. The quantum teleportation is supervised by a controller. We firstly product a nine-qubit entangled states by the states |000000000⟩, and then we use this entangled states as quantum channel to transfer quantum information along three nodes. This scheme is efficient and economical because the intrinsic efficiency reaches 5/19.

Experimental realization of controlled quantum teleportation of arbitrary qubit states via cluster states

Abhijeet Kumar, Saeed Haddadi, Mohammad Reza Pourkarimi +2 more

Controlled quantum teleportation involves a third party as a controller for the teleportation of state. Here, we present the novel protocols for controlling teleportation of the arbitrary two-qubit and three-qubit states through five-qubit and seven-qubit cluster states respectively. In these schemes, Alice sends the arbitrary qubit states to the remote receiver Bob through the cluster states as quantum channels under the control of Charlie. Bob can recover the mentioned states by making appropriate unitary operations, and we point out that the efficiency in our schemes is 100%. In the process of our analysis, we find the classical communication cost in our protocols is remarkably reduced when compared to the previous protocols. We perform the experimental realization of the above protocols on "IBM 16 Melbourne" quantum computer and "IBM quantum simulator" and we calculate the fidelity. We also examine the security analysis against Charlie, and these schemes which we considered here are secure against Charlie's attacks.

Asymmetric bidirectional quantum teleportation via six-qubit partially entangled state

Jinwei Wang, Liping Huang

In this paper, an asymmetric bidirectional controlled quantum teleportation via a six-qubit partially entangled state is given, in which Alice wants to transmit a two-qubit entangled state to Bob and Bob wants to transmit a single-qubit state to Alice on the same time. Although the six-qubit state as quantum channel is partially entangled, the teleportation is implemented deterministically. Furthermore, only Bell-state measurements, single-qubit measurements and some unitary operations are needed in the scheme.
