Abstract

Quantum secure communications could securely transmit quantum information by using quantum resource. Recently, novel applications such as bidirectional and asymmetric quantum protocols have been developed. \n \nIn this paper, we propose a new method for generating entanglement which is highly useful for multiparty quantum communications such as teleportation and Remote State Preparation (RSP). As one of its applications, we propose a new type of quantum secure communications, i.e. cyclic RSP protocols. Starting from a four-party controlled cyclic RSP protocol of one-qubit states, we show that this cyclic protocol can be generalized to a multiparty controlled cyclic RSP protocol for preparation of arbitrary qubit states. We point out that previous bidirectional and asymmetric protocols can be regarded as a simpler form of our cyclic RSP protocols.

A Scheme for Controlled Cyclic Asymmetric Remote State Preparation in Noisy Environment

Nan Zhao, Tingting Wu, Yan Yu +1 more

As research on quantum computers and quantum information transmission deepens, the multi-particle and multi-mode quantum information transmission has been attracting increasing attention. For scenarios where multi-parties transmit sequentially increasing qubits, we put forward a novel (N + 1)-party cyclic remote state preparation (RSP) protocol among an arbitrary number of players and a controller. Specifically, we employ a four-party scheme in the case of a cyclic asymmetric remote state preparation scheme and demonstrate the feasibility of the scheme on the IBM Quantum Experience platform. Furthermore, we present a general quantum channel expression under different circulation directions based on the n-party. In addition, considering the impact of the actual environment in the scheme, we discuss the feasibility of the scheme affected by different noises.

Remote State Preparation for Multiple Parties

Wenhan Dai, Tianyi Peng, Moe Z. Win

Remote state preparation (RSP) is a technique to transmit quantum states with classical communication and previously shared entanglement. In this paper, we consider RSP in a multiparty setting. A simple yet nontrivial case is studied, where there is one sender and two receivers. We put forth a broadcasting method for developing multiparty RSP protocols. We show that this method can remotely prepare arbitrary states by consuming classical and quantum resources. For preparing highly entangled states, the proposed method achieves the lower bound for the amount of consumed resources asymptotically.

Generalization of Bidirectional Controlled Hybrid Protocol of Quantum Teleportation and Remote State Preparation

MohammadHossein Valeh, Hossein Aghababa, Mohammadreza Kolahdouz +1 more

This paper proposes a protocol for hybrid quantum teleportation and remote state preparation(RSP). It allows users to transmit an n-qubit quantum state by using (4n+1)qubits entangled state as a quantum channel to each other simultaneously. This protocol is under the control of a third person, Charlie, who ensures the security of this transmission

Controlled Cyclic and Bidirectional Hybrid Quantum Communication of Arbitrary Two‐Qubit States

Li‐Hua Gong, Xiu‐Bo Chen, Gang Xu +1 more

Abstract Hybrid quantum communication with the combination of quantum teleportation and remote preparation is hopeful for promoting the development of quantum networks and enriching the diversity of quantum network communication. To improve the communication efficiency and enhance the scalability of the quantum networks, a meaningful protocol for controlled cyclic and bidirectional hybrid quantum communication of arbitrary two‐qubit states is proposed, which allows quantum information to be transmitted simultaneously in both directions among multiple participants. With the permission of one controller, each observer can simultaneously transmit arbitrary known two‐qubit states and unknown ones to their adjacent observers, by implementing remote preparation and quantum teleportation in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions. Furthermore, the participants just carry out some quantum measurements and recovery operations to achieve the communication target, and the desired states can be attained with a unit success probability, thus the protocol is deterministic. Finally, some comparisons are also made with other similar protocols, which shows that the protocol is better in qubit efficiency and communication capacity.

Controlled cyclic remote preparation

Li Gong, Song-Ya Ma, Junli Jiang

Abstract Multi-party quantum communication has gradually attracted widespread attention. To realize the perfect transmission of quantum states among multiple participants, a novel multi-party controlled cyclic remote preparation protocol for arbitrary single-qubit states with three senders is proposed. With the permission of one controller, each sender can transmit an arbitrary single-qubit state to its neighbor. In addition, we give a universal protocol for multi-party controlled cyclic remote preparation of arbitrary single-qubit states in the case of multiple senders, which can realize deterministic cyclic preparation of multiple quantum states in one direction. The scheme shows that the communication task can be successfully achieved only if all senders cooperate with the controller, and there is no need for the senders to employ information splitting and additional operations before performing measurements. Finally, we discuss the cyclic remote preparation protocol with three senders under five types of noisy environment, and the closeness between the output state and original state is measured by calculating fidelity.

Bidirectional Hybrid Quantum Communication of Two-Qubit States

Yao Lü, Min Jiang

Abstract This paper proposes a hybrid bidirectional quantum communication protocol, in which two parties simultaneously transmit two-qubit states: one via quantum teleportation (QT) and the other via remote state preparation (RSP). This approach establishes a more flexible model for bidirectional quantum communication. The protocol utilizes a specially designed maximally entangled quantum channel to enable hybrid bidirectional communication. By performing Bell measurements, joint projective measurements, and corresponding unitary operations, quantum teleportation from Alice to Bob and remote state preparation from Bob to Alice can be accomplished synchronously. Furthermore, the robustness of the proposed protocol is evaluated under three typical noisy environments, namely the amplitude damping (AD) channel, phase damping(PD) channel and the depolarizing (DP) channel. The proposed protocol provides a novel framework for effcient bidirectional quantum communication, with potential advantages in enhancing interactivity and optimizing resource utilization in future quantum networks.
