Abstract

A multiparty to multiparty quantum secret sharing (QSS) scheme is proposed. In our scheme, the participants can transmit their shared secret to other participants. The old participants and the new participants all can keep their shares secret. The main operations in our scheme are the quantum-logic-gate transformations and the single-particle measurements, which can be realized easily within the present technology.

An Efficient Multiparty Quantum-State Sharing Scheme

Huawang Qin, Yuewei Dai

An efficient multiparty quantum secret sharing scheme is proposed, in which the secret is a quantum state, and the dealer encodes the secret by performing the operations of quantum-controlled-not and Hadamard gate. The participants perform the single-particle measurements on their particles, and then can cooperate to recover the original quantum state. In our scheme, both the dealer and the participants do not need to perform the entanglement measurement. Compared with the existing schemes, our scheme is simpler and more efficient.

Quantum Secret Sharing with Two-Particle Entangled States

Liu Wei-Tao, Lin-Mei Liang, Cheng-Zu Li +1 more

We present a new protocol for the quantum secret sharing (QSS) task among multiparties with two-particle entangled states. In our scheme, the secret is split among a number of participating partners and the reconstruction requires collaboration of all the authorized partners. Instead of multiparticle Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger states, only two-particle entangled states are employed in this scheme. By local operations and individual measurements on either of the two entangled particles, each authorized partner obtains a sequence of secret bits shared with other authorized partners. This protocol can be experimentally realized using only linear optical elements and simple entanglement source. It is scalable in practice.

Multiparty Quantum Secret Sharing Protocol Using Bell Particle

Liu Ming-hu

A multiparty quantum secret sharing( QSS) protocol which uses Bell particle is presented. In the secret sharing process, the participants have Pauli operation and the H operation to share the information of secret. In the aspect of communications, the protocol using quantum channel to transfer the secrets directly and classical channel is responsible for safety inspection, which ensures the sharing process safety. In the aspect of safety, the protocol can resist the middleman attack as well as internal dishonest participants intercept resend attack.

A flexible framework for (n,n) quantum secret sharing

Kuo-Chun Tseng, Wei-Lin Lee, Chi‐Yuan Chen +1 more

With the rise of quantum computing, traditional cryptography is facing serious threats. Secret sharing, as an important primitive of cryptography, is also affected. Because secret sharing is widely used in many fields, researchers have started to explore quantum secret sharing (QSS). QSS uses basic principles of quantum mechanics to provide strong security and can protect against both eavesdropping and malicious attacks. However, most existing QSS studies focus on specific situations and lack the flexibility needed for complex multiparty environments. In this work, we propose a general QSS framework that can be applied to different scenarios. We first design a basic [Formula: see text] QSS protocol, and then extend it to support multiparty communication and dynamic changes in participants. Our security analysis shows that the proposed method keeps strong security, uses fewer resources, and works independently without the need for a trusted third party (TP). This protocol offers a unified solution that can meet different application needs and provides a new approach to handling diverse QSS tasks more efficiently.

Efficient multiparty quantum secret sharing based on a novel structure and single qubits

Shu–Yu Kuo, Kuo-Chun Tseng, Chia‐Ching Yang +1 more

Abstract Quantum secret sharing (QSS) is a significant branch of quantum cryptography and can be widely used in various applications. Quantum secret sharing schemes can be developed by utilizing different features of quantum mechanics, and quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) is an effective way to achieve secret sharing using single qubits. The utilization of QSDC offers certain benefits, such as low cost, high security, and great potential for implementation with current technologies. However, the purpose of QSDC is different from that of QSS, which causes some vulnerabilities, such as dishonest participant attacks. We discover two critical factors that affect the security of traditional protocols. Firstly, they skip a few steps from the QSDC protocol to the QSS protocol. Secondly, the participants have different privileges. This can lead to participants with more privileges engaging in potential attack behavior. In light of these issues, this study proposes a new multiparty QSS scheme to address these vulnerabilities. The proposed protocol ensures the independence of each participant and grants them equal privileges. Analysis results demonstrate that it can defend against malicious attackers, retain the advantages of the QSDC protocol, and further reduce transmission costs. It achieves an excellent balance between security and performance.

Multiparty Quantum Secret Sharing of Quantum States with Quantum Registers

Guo Ying, Zeng Gui-Hua, Zhigang Chen

A quantum secret sharing scheme is proposed by making use of quantum registers. In the proposed scheme, secret message state is encoded into multipartite entangled states. Several identical multi-particle entanglement states are generated and each particle of the entanglement state is filled in different quantum registers which act as shares of the secret message. Two modes, i.e. the detecting mode and the message mode, are employed so that the eavesdropping can be detected easily and the secret message may be recovered. The security analysis shows that the proposed scheme is secure against eavesdropping of eavesdropper and cheating of participants.
