Improvement quantum teleportation via the pair coherent states

Abstract

In this paper, we present two methods to improve the average fidelity in the quantum teleportation processes to teleport a coherent state via the pair coherent states. We use the measuring of the orthogonal quadrature components in the first protocol and the photon number sum and phase difference in the second. The results show that the average fidelity in the first protocol is enhanced by performing a photon number shifting at a receiver, and F av can approach to the unit if q becomes very big. In the second protocol, the average fidelity increases with increasing the amplitude of the pair coherent states. It approaches to the unit in the limit of the big amplitude values of the pair coherent states and small of the input state. The average fidelity of both methods is greatly improved comparing with the Gabris-Agarwal protocol and it approaches to unit depending on the parameters involved.

Enhancement of teleportation average fidelity via photon addition operation

Truong Minh Duc, Tran Quang Dat

Abstract In this paper, using the linear entropy criterion to quantify the degree of entanglement, we demonstrate that the addition of photons can enhance the entanglement degree of the photon-added two-mode squeezed vacuum states (PATMSVSs). Besides, the entanglement degree can approach ideal in case of squeezing parameter or number of added photons is high. When using PATMSVSs as entanglement resources to teleport a coherent state via a canonical protocol, the results show that the average fidelity of the quantum teleportation process is enhanced by the photon addition operation. The average fidelity increases as the number of photons added to the two-mode increases. In addition, we show that an enhancement in average fidelity can also be achieved by increasing the squeezing parameter of the TMSVS.

Fidelity with quadrature component variances for continuous-variable quantum teleportation

Hailong Zhang, Wende Liang, Kui Liu +2 more

The efficiency of continuous-variable quantum teleportation is typically quantified by fidelity especially in experiment. From the original definition of fidelity in two pure states, we give an expansion of fidelity which is related to the variances of output and input states. With a coherent or a squeezed input state, it is convenient to quantify the quantum teleportation experiment, since the variances of quadrature components of the input and output states are measurable. Furthermore, the fidelity was discussed when the quantum channel lies in the phase- and amplitude-noisy environment, which is unavoidable in experiment, and this showed that the effect of phase noise on teleportation is more sensitive than that of the amplitude-noisy environment. The classical fidelity limit of squeezed state quantum teleportation is also obtained when the entanglement resources do not exist.

: In this paper, we investigated the entanglement properties of the charge-pair cat states based on the linear entropy function. We used these states for the teleportation of a coherent state in two different measurements at the sender by using joint measurements of the quadrature amplitude and joint measurements of the photon number sum and phase difference. The investigated results of the fidelity show that the even charge-pair cat states are more suitable for teleportation in the way of the quadrature amplitude measurements. However, according to the results of the joint measurement of the photon-number sum and phase difference, both the even and odd charge-pair cat states are suitable for the teleportation process in the small amplitude of the coherent state.

Detecting nonclassicality and non-Gaussianity by the Wigner function and quantum teleportation in photon-added-and-subtracted two modes pair coherent state

Truong Minh Duc, Ho Sy Chuong, Dat Quang Tran

Abstract We introduce a new state called photon-added-and-subtracted two modes pair coherent state (PAASTMPCS) by simultaneously adding and subtracting photons to the different modes of a pair coherent state. Its nonclassical and non-Gaussian properties are strengthened via the negative values of its Wigner function as the numbers of adding and subtracting photons are increased. It indicates that the PAASTMPCS is an entangled state. When increasing the numbers of photon-added and photon-subtracted to a pair coherent state, the degree of entanglement in the PAASTMPCS is enhanced compared with the original pair coherent state. By using a PAASTMPCS as a non-Gaussian entangled resource, the quantum teleportation processes are studied in detail. It is shown that the number sum and phase difference measurements protocol is more appropriate than the orthogonal quadrature components measurements protocol in the quantum teleportation process of a coherent state.

Application of generalized photon-added pair coherent state to quantum teleportation via atom-field entangled channel

Thi Hong Thanh Le, Ngoc Duy Tinh Phan, Minh Duc Truong

In this paper, we introduce a field-atom entangled state that represents the entanglement over time between a two-level atom and a field in a generalized photon-added pair coherent state in the Jaynes-Cummings model. This entangled state is applied for quantum teleportation of an unknown atomic state from a sender to a receiver that is geographically distant. Accordingly, we use an average fidelity criterion to quantify quantum teleportation processing. The results have shown that the process of teleportation is influenced by parameters such as initial field strength, the amplitude of a state to be teleported, and the number of added photons to two modes of the field. In addition, we also compare the success of teleportation in two cases of the field: the pair coherent state and the generalized photon-added pair coherent state.

Bidirectional teleportation through an entangled coherent quantum network

S. Aliloute, Abderrahim El Allati, Ibrahim El Aouadi +1 more

A bidirectional quantum teleportation protocol is introduced over a quantum network consisting of more than four members sharing a coherent entangled state, where it is implemented in a perfect or noisy environment. The results show that the amplitude of the coherent state and the decoherence parameter play important roles in maximizing or minimizing this probability. At fixed values of the amplitude and decoherence parameters, the success of probability increases as the number of users increases. The fidelity of the teleported coherent state depends on the type of encoded information, whether entangled/partial or classical information, namely, it depends on the weight parameter. The stable behavior of the fidelity is displayed when users teleport classical information.
