Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a field-atom entangled state that represents the entanglement over time between a two-level atom and a field in a generalized photon-added pair coherent state in the Jaynes-Cummings model. This entangled state is applied for quantum teleportation of an unknown atomic state from a sender to a receiver that is geographically distant. Accordingly, we use an average fidelity criterion to quantify quantum teleportation processing. The results have shown that the process of teleportation is influenced by parameters such as initial field strength, the amplitude of a state to be teleported, and the number of added photons to two modes of the field. In addition, we also compare the success of teleportation in two cases of the field: the pair coherent state and the generalized photon-added pair coherent state.

QUANTUM TELEPORTATION OF ENTANGLED STATES VIA GENERALIZED PHOTON-ADDED PAIR COHERENT STATE

Thi Hong Thanh Le, Ngoc Duy Tinh Phan, Minh Duc Truong

In this paper, we study the quantum teleportation of an unknown atomic state based on the two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model, consisting of an effective two-level atom with a two-mode field in the generalized photon-added pair coherent state (GPAPCS). By applying the detecting method, we use a scheme that includes two two-level atoms and a cavity field to teleport the unknown atomic state from a sender to a receiver. The results show that the number of photons added to the field and the intensity of the initial field influence the average fidelity and success probability of the teleportation process. The time-evolution dependence of the average fidelity is also considered and compared for the field in the pair coherent state and in the GPAPCS.

Teleporting quantum Fisher information for even and odd coherent states

K. El Anouz, Abderrahim El Allati, M. El Baz

We present a scheme for implementing a quantum teleportation process using the Jaynes–Cummings model. For this, we study the interaction between an excited state of a two-level atom and a single electromagnetic field in a superposition of coherent states. The resulting entangled state may be considered as a good quantum channel for quantum teleportation protocol. By controlling the interaction field parameters inside the cavity, the average fidelity of the teleported state may be maximized. However, the weight and phase parameters in the teleported states are estimated by using quantum Fisher information. It allows one to show that the sensitivity of the teleported states fluctuates between maximum and minimum bounds for large numbers of photons. Evaluating different quantities of quantum entanglement, average fidelity, and the amount of quantum Fisher information shows that the odd coherent states are usually larger than those obtained using even coherent states.

Dynamics of quantum correlations in quantum teleportation

K. El Anouz, Ibrahim El Aouadi, Abderrahim El Allati +1 more

A scheme of quantum teleportation using Jaynes–Cummings model is proposed. It consists of using a partial entangled state generated from the interaction between a two-level atom and single mode of radiation field as a quantum channel. By controlling the number of photons inside cavity and detuning parameter, the dynamical evolution of quantum correlation and entanglement degree in terms of quantum discord and concurrence, respectively, in the nonresonance case are investigated. Moreover, a comparative study between the teleported entanglement, teleported quantum correlation and average fidelity shows a good similarity between their dynamical evolution. Consequently, we conclude that quantum discord may be considered as a good information source in quantum teleportation process.

Practical quantum teleportation of an unknown quantum state

Syed Tahir Amin, Aeysha Khalique

We present our model to teleport an unknown quantum state using entanglement between two distant parties. Our model takes into account experimental limitations due to contribution of multi-photon pair production of parametric down conversion source, inefficiency, dark counts of detectors, and channel losses. We use a linear optics setup for quantum teleportation of an unknown quantum state by the sender performing a Bell state measurement. Our theory successfully provides a model for experimentalists to optimize the fidelity by adjusting the experimental parameters. We apply our model to a recent experiment on quantum teleportation and the results obtained by our model are in good agreement with the experimental results.

Quantum teleportation using bipartite entangled photon-added non-linear coherent states

E. Castro, Eduardo Javier Paez, Celso L. Ladera +1 more

Quantum teleportation has attracted much attention from both theorists and experimenters in the last decade. The emergence of new protocols and their actual implementation have even motivated the development of new quantum optical schemes. A key issue when teleporting a quantum state is establishing the quantum channel between sender and receiver stations, usually done by manipulating an auxiliary bipartite entangled state. The purpose of the present work is to study quantum teleportation processes in which that state is an entangled bipartite photon-added state, and the Adhikari et. al. continuous-variable quantum teleportation protocol is applied. Photon-added states can be generated using different experimental techniques, such as parametric down-conversion in a nonlinear crystal, and conditioned parametric amplification. These states are relevant because they exhibit generalized non-classical features for all orders of creation and annihilation operators, and may even show phase squeezing and sub-Poissonian distribution statistics. We study, the dependence of the fidelity of the teleported states and their photon number statistic as a function of the higher-order squeezing, and the higher-order sub-Poissonian statistic.
