An ideal lattice based IBE scheme in the standard model

Xiaoyuan Yang, Liqiang Wu, Minqing Zhang +2 more

Under the standard model, an IND-sID-CPA secure IBE (Identity Based Encryption) scheme is proposed, which is based on an improved trapdoor generation function over ring and decisional R-LWE (ring-learning with errors) assumption, thus the hardness of recovering system master key can be reduced to solve the Ideal-SIS (small integer solution) problem, and the attack to the ciphertext is equivalent to solving the SVP (the shortest vector problem) in the worst case on ideal lattice to within a fixed poly( n ) factor. Moreover, the proposed scheme has advantages of high encryption and decryption speed and low encryption blowup factor compared with all known IBE scheme from the standard lattice under the standard model.

A Ring-LWE-based digital signature inspired by Lindner–Peikert scheme

Javad Sharafi, Hassan Daghigh

Abstract In this article, we give a digital signature by using Lindner–Peikert cryptosystem. The security of this digital signature is based on the assumptions about hardness of Ring-LWE and Ring-SIS problems, along with providing public key and signature of compact (1–1.5 kilobytes) size. We prove the security of our signature scheme in the Quantum Random Oracle Model. Our cryptanalysis has been done based on methods of Aggarwal et al. and Chen et al.

Lattice signatures using NTRU on the hardness of worst‐case ideal lattice problems

Dipayan Das, Vishal Saraswat, Kajla Basu

Recently, lattice signatures based on the Fiat‐Shamir framework have seen a lot of improvements which are efficient in practice. The security of these signature schemes depends mainly on the hardness of solving short integer solutions (SIS) and/or learning with errors problem in the random oracle model. The authors propose an alternative lattice‐based signature scheme on the Fiat‐Shamir framework over the ring . The key generation in the signature scheme is based on the combination of NTRU and Ring SIS like key generation. Both the signature and the verification are done efficiently by doing polynomial convolutions in the ring . The proposed signature scheme is provably secure based on the hardness of the Ring SIS problem in the random oracle model. The scheme is also efficient up to constant factors as the highly practical schemes which have provable secure instantiation.
