Abstract

The multi-wavelength optical network security system generated by using an optical nonlinear material within the modified add-drop optical filter for network security is proposed. By using the dark-bright nonlinear pulse control, the optical multi-wavelength can be constructed and applied to securely transport within the network. The advantage is that the dark and bright nonlinear pair (components) can securely propagate for long distance without electromagnetic interference. In operation, the optical intensity from modified add-drop optical filter is established.

Multi optical Soliton generated by PANDA ring resonator for secure network communication

Iraj Sadegh Amiri, M. Ranjbar, Ali Nikoukar +3 more

In this study, new system of quantum cryptography for network communication is proposed. Multi optical Soliton can be generated and propagate via a nonlinear modified add/drop interferometer system incorporated with a time division multiple access (TDMA) system wherein the transportation of quantum codes is performed. To increase the channel capacity and security of the signals, the PANDA ring resonator is proposed. Chaotic output signals from the PANDA ring resonator are input into the add/drop filter system. Chaotic signals can be filtered by using the add/drop filter system in which multi dark and bright solitons can be obtained and used to generate entangled quantum codes for internet security. In this study soliton pulses with FWHM and FSR of 325 pm and 880 nm are generated, respectively, where the Gaussian pulse with a centre wavelength of 1.55 μm and power of 600 mW is input into the system.

Novel soliton cryptography using optical key generated by orthogonal dark-bright soliton pair

Xaythavy Louangvilay, Somsak Mitatha, Masahiro Yoshida +2 more

A new method of optical cryptography using dark-bright soliton conversion control within a modified add/drop optical filter is proposed. A pair of optical keys is randomly generated and transmitted into the transmission line, where finally the corrected keys between Alice (sender) and Bob (receiver) can be retrieved. In principle, the coincidence (orthogonal) dark-bright soliton pair has shown promising behaviors, especially when they propagate into the π/2 phase shifter, i.e. beamsplitter, the shift in phase of π/2 between dark and bright solitons is occurred and separated. Such behaviors can be used to form the orthogonal light modes (solitons), which are useful for cryptographic application, where in this case the long-distance cryptography can be easily managed. We have derived and presented a new concept of multi-orthogonal solitons generated by using dark-bright soliton pulses within the modified add/drop optical filter, which is known as a PANDA ring resonator. By using the dark-bright soliton conversion control, the obtained output of the dynamic states can be used to randomly form the multi-orthogonal soliton pairs, which can be available for computer and communication security applications, especially for long-distance link.

Distributed photon network sensors via a wavelength router

Kreangsak Tamee, Somsak Mitatha, Preecha P. Yupapin

This study proposes a novel system of multi-photons generation and networking using an optical add/drop filter incorporating two nanoring resonators and the wavelength routers. By using some suitable parameters of the input and the control signals via an input and add ports, the intense optical fields can form and propagate within the system. Simulation results obtained have shown that multi-photons/atoms trapping pulses can be generated by using dark solitons and Gaussian pulses into the system, which can be used to form the multi-variable network for photons/atoms trapping and transportation via the wavelength routers. In application, the proposed system can be fabricated on a chip, in which the use for network sensors (communications) can be realised.

We propose a novel method of an optical cryptography using the dark-bright soliton conversion control in a modified add/drop optical filter. By using the control arrangement, the obtained outputs of the dynamic states of dark-bright soliton can be used to form the key suppression for communication security application, in which the key recovery can be obtained by controlling the add/drop filter outputs. The optical cryptography consists of an add/drop filter which is used to generate the encryption and decryption keys from the optical keys (LIP signals). A Mach-Zehnder interferometer is used for multiplexing and de-multiplexing operations. Simulation results obtained shows, that the proposed system can be used to form a high security communication system.
