Abstract

This study proposes a novel system of multi-photons generation and networking using an optical add/drop filter incorporating two nanoring resonators and the wavelength routers. By using some suitable parameters of the input and the control signals via an input and add ports, the intense optical fields can form and propagate within the system. Simulation results obtained have shown that multi-photons/atoms trapping pulses can be generated by using dark solitons and Gaussian pulses into the system, which can be used to form the multi-variable network for photons/atoms trapping and transportation via the wavelength routers. In application, the proposed system can be fabricated on a chip, in which the use for network sensors (communications) can be realised.

Novel quantum‐molecular transporter and networking via a wavelength router

Thanunchai Threepak, Xaythavy Louangvilay, Somsak Mitatha +1 more

Abstract We propose a new system of a molecular‐quantum networking using the optical tweezers, where the transportation of molecules via wavelength router and network can be performed. In addition, the molecule transportation states can be identified by using the quantum states of the transporters, which can be formed in the network. The proposed fabricated material used is InGaAsP/InP, which can provide the required output signals. The design system consists of a nonlinear microring/nanoring resonator system incorporating an add/drop filter and a wavelength router. The transporter can be formed by the dark soliton, and the optical transporter is tuned and amplified by the bright soliton and transmitted into the network. In applications, the use of the proposed system incorporating a nanoscale communication and networking via wavelength router is available for long‐distance link. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Multi optical Soliton generated by PANDA ring resonator for secure network communication

Iraj Sadegh Amiri, M. Ranjbar, Ali Nikoukar +3 more

In this study, new system of quantum cryptography for network communication is proposed. Multi optical Soliton can be generated and propagate via a nonlinear modified add/drop interferometer system incorporated with a time division multiple access (TDMA) system wherein the transportation of quantum codes is performed. To increase the channel capacity and security of the signals, the PANDA ring resonator is proposed. Chaotic output signals from the PANDA ring resonator are input into the add/drop filter system. Chaotic signals can be filtered by using the add/drop filter system in which multi dark and bright solitons can be obtained and used to generate entangled quantum codes for internet security. In this study soliton pulses with FWHM and FSR of 325 pm and 880 nm are generated, respectively, where the Gaussian pulse with a centre wavelength of 1.55 μm and power of 600 mW is input into the system.

Multi-users Quantum Key Distribution Via Wavelength Routers in an Optical Network

Preecha P. Yupapin, Somsak Mitatha

We propose a new system of a continuous variable quantum key distribution via a wavelength router in the optical networks. A large bandwidth signal is generated by a soliton pulse propagating within the micro ring resonator, which is allowed to form the continuous wavelength with large tunable channel capacity. Two forms of soliton pulses are generated and localized, i.e. temporal and spatial solitons. The required information can be transmitted via the spatial soliton while the continuous variable quantum key distribution is formed by using the temporal one. This is formed by using an optical add/drop multiplexer incorporated in the optical network, where the localized soliton pulses are available for add/drop signals to/from the optical network. The high security and capacity information can be performed. Keywords: Wavelength router, quantum router, quantum network, high capacity network

Molecular distributed sensors using dark soliton array trapping tools

Sorayut Glomglome, Somsak Mitatha, Preecha P. Yupapin

We present the novel system of molecular distributed sensors using dark soliton pulse array, whereas the multi dark soliton sources can be generated and the molecular distributed sensors presented via an optical multiplexer (MUX). Initially, the dark soliton array with different center wavelengths can be generated, then the transmission molecules/atoms can be secured by using the dark soliton behaviors, whereas the dark soliton valley can be configured as the molecule/atom trapping potential well, which can be used to trap molecule/atom. In this case, the transported molecules/atoms in the router can be used to form the molecular distributed sensors, whereas the induced changes in the molecular distributed sensors can be formed and measured via the drop port of each output multiplexer.

Novel Multi Optical Trapping Tool Generation within Add/Drop Filter System Controlled by Light

Phichai Youplao, Somsak Mitatha, Preecha P. Yupapin

We propose a novel system of multi optical trapping tool using a bright soliton pulses propagating within the add/drop optical filter system. The multiplexing signals with different wavelengths of the bright solition are controlled and amplified within the system. The dynamic behavior of bright soliton interaction is analyzed and described. The signal is controlled and tuned to be an optical probe which can be configured as the multi optical tweezers. By using some suitable parameters, we found that the tweezers widths in add/drop at the drop ports are about 18 nm is achieved. Therefore, the generated multi optical tweezers can be amplified within the design system. In application, the optical tweezers train can be trapped light/atom, which can be transmitted and recovered by using the proposed system.

Multi-wavelength optical network security generated by modified add-drop filter

Surachai Tunsiri, Saysamone Soysouvanh, Somsak Mitatha +2 more

The multi-wavelength optical network security system generated by using an optical nonlinear material within the modified add-drop optical filter for network security is proposed. By using the dark-bright nonlinear pulse control, the optical multi-wavelength can be constructed and applied to securely transport within the network. The advantage is that the dark and bright nonlinear pair (components) can securely propagate for long distance without electromagnetic interference. In operation, the optical intensity from modified add-drop optical filter is established.
