Abstract

We have examined the effect of a DM interaction and longitudinal external magnetic field on the energy gap of a two-qubit spin-1/2 XY mode. Also we have calculated the critical values of DM interaction and longitudinal external magnetic field. We have shown that DM interaction and external magnetic field have an effect on the energy gap behavior and critical values and also we have been able to get phase transition point

The critical values of ising model with the interaction of the second neighbor in the presence of DM interaction and magnetic field

H. Arefazar, Mohammad Reza Soltani

The Ising three qubit model has been studied by the interaction of the second neighbor in the presence of DM interaction and external longitudinal uniformmagnetic field.WeÂ’ve studied the critical values of DM interaction in the absence of magnetic field and also in the presence of magnetic field. In this case, it has been shown that the critical value of DM interaction depends on the exchange coefficient parameters and also the magnetic field. WeÂ’ve studied the critical value of the external longitudinal magnetic field per different cases of the exchange coefficients and DMinteraction power. In has been shown that in some cases, there is no critical value of magnetic field.

Critical entanglement and geometric phase of a two-qubit model with Dzyaloshinski–Moriya anisotropic interaction

Li Zhi-Jian, Xinlu Cheng, Wen Jiao-Jin

We consider a two-qubit system described by the Heisenberg XY model with Dzyaloshinski–Moriya (DM) anisotropic interaction in a perpendicular magnetic field to investigate the relation between entanglement, geometric phase and quantum phase transition (QPT). It is shown that the DM interaction has an effect on the critical boundary. The combination of entanglement and geometric phase may characterize QPT completely. Their jumps mean that the occurrence of QPT and inversely the QPT at the critical point at least corresponds to a jump of one of them.

Thermal Entanglement in a Two-Qubit Ising Chain Subjected to Dzyaloshinsky—Moriya Interaction

B. G. Divyamani, Sudha

Thermal entanglement of a two-qubit Ising chain subjected to an external magnetic field and Dzyaloshinsky—Moriya (DM) interaction is examined. The effect of magnetic field, strength of DM interaction and temperature are analyzed by adopting negativity of partial transpose as the measure of entanglement. It is shown that when the DM interaction along the Ising axis is considerable, thermal entanglement can be sustained for a higher temperature. The usefulness of longitudinal DM interaction over the one that is perpendicular to the Ising axis, in the manipulation and control of entanglement at a feasible temperature, is illustrated.

Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interactions effects on the entanglement dynamics of a two qubit xxz spin system in non-Markovian environment

Georges Collince Fouokeng, Martin Tchoffo, Edwine Tendong +1 more

We investigate the exact entanglement dynamics of a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interactions, interacting with an anisotropic spin bath in thermal equi- librium at a temperature T, driven by an external magnetic field B along the z-axis. We establish that, for an initially entangled qubit pair, the DM interactions generate entanglement and enhance the entanglement in the revival region. The effects of the DM interaction are also seen to be very important at high temperatures and for weak coupling between the two qubits where it is seen to preserve entanglement. These effects are weakened when the magnetic field B and the Heisenberg coupling are switched on. If the two-qubits are prepared in an initially separable state, the DM in- teraction instead has a negative effect on their entanglement. On a whole entanglement can better be preserve in the spin chain even at high temperatures by increases the external magnetic field B and the Heisenberg couplings, and by tuning the strength of the DM interaction.

Geometric phases and quantum phase transitions in inhomogeneous XY spin-chains: Effect of the Dzyaloshinski–Moriya interaction

Lincheng Wang, Yan Jun-yan, Yi Xue-Xi

We study geometric phases of the ground states of inhomogeneous XY spin chains in transverse fields with Dzyaloshinski–Moriya (DM) interaction, and investigate the effect of the DM interaction on the quantum phase transition (QPT) of such spin chains. The results show that the DM interaction could influence the distribution of the regions of QPTs but could not produce new critical points for the spin-chain. This study extends the relation between geometric phases and QPTs.

Quantum discord for a central two-qubit system coupled to anXYspin chain with Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya interaction

Liang Qiu, An Min Wang

We investigated the quantum discord dynamics of a central two-qubit system coupled to an XY spin chain with the Dzyaloshinsky–Moriya (DM) interaction. We found that the DM interaction does not affect the behavior of the quantum phase transition induced by the external magnetic field. Moreover, the DM interaction enhances the decay of quantum discord in the weak-coupling regime, while it has no obvious effect on the quantum discord dynamics in the strong-coupling regime.
