Nonlocal correlation dynamics of two qubits interacting with a cavity coherent field: time-dependent atomic location effects

Mostafa Hashem, Fahad Aljuaydi, Atta Ur Rahman +1 more

Abstract This work delves into the nonlocal correlation dynamics of the maximum-Bell nonlocality (MBN), uncertainty-induced nonlocality (UIN), and concurrence of two two-level atoms having time-dependent atomic locations within Tavis-Cummings model. By considering a scenario where the pure two qubits resonantly interact with an even coherent cavity field through a two-photon transition, we explore the nonlocal correlation dynamics of both moving and stationary two-atom configurations under varying conditions and coupling parameters. Our findings reveal that the coherent cavity induces the successful generation of nonlocal correlations between atoms in both modes, with moving atoms exhibiting higher and symmetrical nonlocal correlations. Interestingly, dynamical maps showcase distinct behaviors for atoms at rest, exhibiting precocity at higher atom-cavity strengths. Moreover, equal coupling strength results in lower quantum correlations. The UIN measure emerges as the most robust quantum function, showing enhancements with sustained unequal coupling strengths, contrasting with the MBN and concurrence. These insights offer a nuanced understanding of nonlocal correlations in the Tavis-Cummings model, essential for advancing quantum information science and technology.

Three-level atom–field in the context of time-dependent coupling and power-lower potentials

Mariam Algarni, K. Berrada, S. Abdel‐Khalek +1 more

In the framework of time-varying coupling and power-law potentials, we investigate quantum entanglement and quantum Fisher information in a system that consists of a three-level atom interacting with a quantized field. The results illustrate that the quantum entanglement and quantum Fisher information's temporal evolution depend critically on the physical properties of the field and its coupling to the atom. It is noteworthy to notice that the quantifiers are sensitive to the exponent parameter of the potential with and without time-varying coupling. Considerable nonlocal correlation with the accuracy of parameter estimation can be achieved through the proper control of physical parameters.

Persistent nonlocality in an ultracold-atom environment

Bradley Longstaff, Jonatan Bohr Brask

We investigate nonlocal quantum correlations arising between multiple two-level impurity atoms coupled to an ultracold bosonic gas. We find that the environment-induced dynamics of the impurity subsystem can generate nonlocal states that are robust against noise and violate a multipartite Bell inequality when projective spin measurements are made. Genuine multipartite nonlocality is also observed in a system of three impurities. We show that non-Markovian effects, and the persistence of coherences in the impurity subsystem, are crucial for preventing complete loss of nonlocality and allow for nonlocal correlations to be generated and maintained for extended periods of time.
