Abstract

We propose a novel scheme to probabilistically transmit an arbitraryunknown two-qubit quantum state with the help of two partially entangled states. In this scheme, theteleportation with one sender and two receives can be realized when theinformation of non-maximally entangled states is only available for thesender. The original state would been teleported on the particles of the two senders.Furthermore, the concrete implementation processes of this proposal are presented, meanwhile the classical communication cost and thesuccessful probability of our scheme are calculated.

A New Scheme for Probabilistic Teleportation and Its Potential Applications

Jiahua Wei, Hong‐Yi Dai, Ming Zhang

We propose a novel scheme to probabilistically teleport an unknown two-level quantum state when the information of the partially entangled state is only available for the sender. This is in contrast with the fact that the receiver must know the non-maximally entangled state in previous typical schemes for the teleportation. Additionally, we illustrate two potential applications of the novel scheme for probabilistic teleportation from a sender to a receiver with the help of an assistant, who plays distinct roles under different communication conditions, and our results show that the novel proposal could enlarge the applied range of probabilistic teleportation.

Probabilistic Teleportation of Arbitrary Two-Qubit Quantum State via Non-Symmetric Quantum Channel

Kan Wang, Xutao Yu, Xiao-Fei Cai +1 more

Quantum teleportation has significant meaning in quantum information. In particular, entangled states can also be used for perfectly teleporting the quantum state with some probability. This is more practical and efficient in practice. In this paper, we propose schemes to use non-symmetric quantum channel combinations for probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary two-qubit quantum state from sender to receiver. The non-symmetric quantum channel is composed of a two-qubit partially entangled state and a three-qubit partially entangled state, where partially entangled Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) state and W state are considered, respectively. All schemes are presented in detail and the unitary operations required are given in concise formulas. Methods are provided for reducing classical communication cost and combining operations to simplify the manipulation. Moreover, our schemes are flexible and applicable in different situations.

Quantum controlled teleportation when only the sender knows the partially entangled state

Jiahua Wei, Tingting Zhang, Wei Guo +3 more

In this paper, a new proposal was presented to probabilistically transmit an unknown quantum state from a sender to a remote receiver with the aid of a controller when the non-maximally entangled state is only available for the sender. Meanwhile, the whole successful probability and classical communication of this scheme for controlled teleportation are calculated. The concrete processes of our proposal are elaborated in detail. This scheme would be used to expand the research range of quantum controlled teleportation.

Probabilistic Teleportation via Quantum Channel with Partial Information

Desheng Liu, Zhiping Huang, Xiaojun Guo

Two novel schemes are proposed to teleport an unknown two-level quantum state probabilistically when the sender and the receiver only have partial information about the quantum channel, respectively. This is distinct from the fact that either the sender or the receiver has entire information about the quantum channel in previous schemes for probabilistic teleportation. Theoretical analysis proves that these schemes are straightforward, efficient and cost-saving. The concrete realization procedures of our schemes are presented in detail, and the result shows that our proposals could extend the application range of probabilistic teleportation.

Quantum Controlled Teleportation of Arbitrary Two-Qubit State via Entangled States

Lei Shi, Kaihang Zhou, Jiahua Wei +2 more

We put forward an efficient quantum controlled teleportation scheme, in which arbitrary two-qubit state is transmitted from the sender to the remote receiver via two entangled states under the control of the supervisor. In this paper, we use the combination of one two-qubit entangled state and one three-qubit entangled state as quantum channel for achieving the transmission of unknown quantum states. We present the concrete implementation processes of this scheme. Furthermore, we calculate the successful probability and the amount of classical information of our protocol.
