Abstract

In this paper a new scheme for teleporting an unknown entangled state of two particles is proposed. To weaken the requirement for the quantum channel, without loss of generality, two communicators only share a non-maximally entangled two-particle state. Teleportation can be probabilistically realized if sender performs Bell-state measurements and Hadamard transformation and receiver introduces two auxiliary particles, operates C -not operation, single-qubit measurements and appropriate unitary transformations. The probability of successful teleportation is determined by the smaller one among the coefficients' absolute values of the quantum channel.

Teleportation of a bipartite quantum state via generalized Bell states

He‐Shan Song

Two-qubit quantum teleportation is closely related to quantum computation,so a teleportation protocol in which an arbitrary bipartite quantum state is perfectly teleported probabilistically from sender to receiver is proposed. One of 16 generalized non-maximally entangled Bell states (G states for simplicity) functions as quantum channel. The teleportation can be successfully realized with a certain probability if sender performs generalized Bell state measurements (G measurements) and receiver introduces an auxiliary particle and operates appropriate unitary transformations and single-qubit measurements. The probability of successful teleportation is determined by the smallest one among the coefficients' absolute values of the quantum channel.

Teleportation of an unknown 2-particle entangled state

LI Dong-xie

We have explicitly shown a teleportation scheme which allows Alice to probabilistically teleport an unknown 2-particle entangled state to either of the two receivers,Bob or Charlie,by using a non-maximally entangled 5-particle state as quantum channel. The scheme can be generalized to teleport an unknown N-(particle) entangled state to M receivers using a(N·M+1)-particle state as quantum channel at the expense of performing one CNOT operation,N·M Hadamard operations, appropriate unitary transformation without performing Bell-state measurement.

Probabilistic teleportation of arbitrary two-particle entangled state via cluster state

NI Zhi-xiang

Two schemes for teleporting an unknown two-particle entangled state via a four-qubit non-maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel are proposed. In the first scheme,a special bipartite entangled state was teleported, the receiver Bob can reconstruct the original state with a certain probability according to the sender Alice's measurement results, and the successful probability is determined by the smallest two coefficients' absolute values of the cluster state. In the latter scheme an arbitrary two-particle entangled state was teleported.Contrast to the first scheme, Bob should perform a quantum controlled phase gate operation besides the unitary transformation. The considerable advantage is that it employs a non-maximally entangled cluster state as quantum channel in these two schemes. Thus, the schemes can greatly reduce the amount of entanglement resources and need less classical bits.

A new representation and probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary and unknown N -particle state

Li Dong, Xiu Xiao-Ming, Gao Ya-Jun

A new representation of an arbitrary and unknown N -particle state is presented at first. As an application, a scheme for teleporting an arbitrary and unknown N -particle state is proposed when N pairs of two-particle non-maximally entangled states are utilized as quantum channels. After Alice (sender) makes Bell-state measurement on her particles, Bob (recipient) introduces an auxiliary particle and carries out appropriate unitary transformation on his particle and the auxiliary particle depending on classical information from Alice. Then, von Neumann measurement that confirms whether the teleportation succeeds or not is performed by Bob on the auxiliary particle. In order to complete the teleportation, another N -1 times operations need to be performed which are similar to the above ones. It can be successfully realized with a certain probability which is determined by the product of the smaller coefficients of non-maximally entangled pairs. All possible unitary transformations are given in detail.

Probabilistic teleportation of an arbitrary two-particle state by one EPR pair and GHZ triplet

Guo Zhan-ying, Fang Jian-Xing

We present a scheme to probabilistically teleport an arbitrary and unknown two-particle state via a nonmaximally entangled EPR pair and a non-maximally entangled GHZ state as the quantum channel. With the help of Bell-state measurements and Hadamard measurement, an arbitrary two-particle state can be perfectly teleported if a receiver introduces a collective unitary transformation. The unitary transformation is given uniquely. Also, we present a quantum circuit for realizing the teleportation successfully.

Probabilistic Teleportation of a Three-Particle GHZ State via Two Three-Particle Entangled W States

Hong Li

Abstract A scheme for teleporting an unknown three-particle GHZ state from a sender to either one of two receivers is proposed. In this scheme, the quantum channel is composed of two non-maximally three-particle entangled W states. An unknown three-particle GHZ state can be perfectly teleported probabilistically if the sender performs two generalized Bell-state measurements and the Hadamard operation while either one of two receivers introduces an ancillary particle which is one of the final three particle constituting the teleported state, then performs the controlled-not operation with the ancillary particle as the target bit and introduces an appropriate unitary transformation with the help of the other receiver's simple measurements. All kinds of unitary transformations are given in detail. The present scheme may be directly generalized to teleport an unknown multiparticle GHZ state via two three-particle entangled W states used as the quantum channel.
