Abstract

We investigate the process of Casimir field indirect pliotodetection. The protocol of measurement is implemented via interaction between two-level atom and cavity. We evaluated basic statistical characteristics of conditional state of Casimir field.

Conditional evolution of vacuum state in dynamical Casimir effect

V O Sheremetyev, Ekaterina S. Trifanova, Alexander Trifanov

We analytically investigate the process of photons creation in the empty cavity with trembling ideal conductive boundary. Quantum state of the intracavity field is monitored by the two-level atom passing through the system and undergoing the subsequent state measurement in the ionizing chamber. The resulted field evolution conditioned by atomic state detection result is of the most interest.

Reduced conditional dynamic of quantum system under indirect quantum measurement

Miroshnichenko, George, Trifanov, Alexander

In this report, we study the reduced conditional dynamics of a quantum system in the case of indirect quantum measurement. The detectors microscopic part (pointer) interacts with the measured system (target) and the environment, which results in a nonunitary interaction between target and pointer. The quantum state evolution conditioned by the measurement result is under investigation. Particularly, we are interested in explicit analytical expressions for the conditional evolution superoperators and basic information characteristics of this measurement process, which is applied to the cavity mode photodetection problem.

Monitoring of quantum mode correlation functions in the presence of pointer state phase relaxation

Ekaterina S. Trifanova, Alexander Trifanov

In present work we investigate the process of interaction between two-level atom- pointer and cavity mode to obtain correlation functions of mode quantum state. In particular, we analyze the protocol of indirect photodetection which allow estimations for average values of photon number operator in any order using statistics of atom state detector clicks.

Dynamical Casimir effect in two-atom cavity QED

Alexandre V. Dodonov, V. V. Dodonov

We study analytically and numerically the dynamical Casimir effect in a cavity containing two stationary two-level atoms that interact with the resonance field mode via the Tavis-Cummings Hamiltonian. We determine the modulation frequencies for which the field and atomic excitations are generated and study the corresponding dynamical behaviors in the absence of damping. It is shown that the two-atom setup allows for monitoring of photon generation without interrupting the growth, and different entangled states can be generated during the process.

An indirect measurement process parameterized by a nonunitary system–pointer interaction

A I Trifanov, G P Miroshnichenko

An indirect quantum state measurement process is under investigation. Common evolution of detector's microscopic part (pointer) and measured system (target) is considered to be nonunitary due to the interaction between pointer and environment. System of differential equations for superoperators, which map initial target state to it's conditional final state is obtained. Developed formalism is applied to the problem of cavity quantum mode photodetection to investigate basic information characteristics of this measurement process.
