Abstract

In this paper,we discuss the differences of macro-system and mesoscopics system in statistical mechanics, such as the self-average effect;fluctuation of salience;the dependent results of averaging over different ensemble, etc. So the quantum fluctuation affects stabilization and form of mesoscopic system.Starting from equation of motion of an active LC circuit, the quantum fluctuation of the charge and current in mesoscopic circuit(LC circuit) in the vacuum state are investigated.

Quantum Fluctuations of Mesoscopic LC Circuit in the Number-phase Space

MA Mei-juan

Starting with the Lagrange of circuit system and using number-phase quantization scheme, mesoscopic LC circuit is quantized and the Hamiltonian expressed by charge number operator and the phase-difference operator is obtained. The quantum fluctuations of both charge number and phase-difference are researched in both vacuum state and squeezed vacuum state. The results show that the quantum fluctuations only relate to the parameters of circuit system in vacuum state, but in the squeezed vacuum state, the quantum fluctuations relate to not only the parameters of circuit system, but also the squeezing parameter.

Hongqi Li

Starting from the classical equation of motion, the mesoscopic parallel LC circuit is quantized. On this basic theory, we have studied quantum fluctuations of the voltage and current of each branch in thermal vacuum state. The result shows that the quantum fluctuations of the voltage and current of each branch are related with parameter of the circuit element, and also related with temperature and decayed with time.

Quantum fluctuations of mesoscopic LC circuit at finite temperature

Qi-Liang He

At a definite temperature,a mesoscopic circuit isn't in a determinate quantum state, but in the mixed state.Using the quantum canonic ensemble theory, the quantum fluctuations of charge and circuit of a mesoscopic LC circuit in the mixed state were studied. It is shown that the quantum fluctuations of a mesoscopic LC circuit depend on not only the circuit component parameters, but also the temperature. The higher the temperature, the more quantum noise the mesoscopic LC exhibits. This method is more easily understood and applied than the TFD method. As the mesoscopic circuit is always at finite temperatures, the result is useful for controlling the quantum fluctuations of mesoscopic circuit.

Quantization and quantum effects of mesoscopic parallel LC circuit with double dissipative branches circuit

Qingyi Yang

A mesoscopic parallel LC circuit model with double dissipative branch circuits is put forward according to the actual situation of the circuit. It is quantized with the theory of the classical circuit and the quantization method of damped harmonic oscillator. Then the quantum fluctuations of the voltage and the current of the circuit in vacuum state and the quantum fluctuations affected by the dissipative resistances are discussed. The results show that the quantum fluctuations of the voltage and the current of both branches are not only related with the parameters of the LC circuit components, but also affected by the dissipative resistances. They decay with the same exponential with time. The coefficients of the quantum fluctuations of the current are the same, while those of the voltage are different. When the two dissipative resistances are equal, the quantum fluctuations of the voltage and the current of both branches take on the same behavior respectively.
