Abstract

In this essay,The population of two-level atom system in the frequencey modulated light filed was analysed. To realize the population trapping in the two-level system,It must add the frequencey modulation and assure the adiabatic condition.

POPULATION TRAPPING PHENOMENA IN A TWO-LEVEL SYSTEM

LONG DE-SHUN, Ning Xi-Jing, 复旦大学现代物理研究所,上海200433

The critical criterion for realizing population trapping is deduced for a two-level system driven by a frequency-modulated laser field in terms of dressed atom model, followed by demonstrating the various population trapping behaviours under different conditions. Detailed numerical solutions of time-dependent Schr?idinger equation are found to be in good agreement with the analytical results.

Coherent population trapping in a two-level atom excited by a resonant field under amplitude and phase modulation

Recently, the existence of population-trapping states in a two-level system driven by a frequency-modulated field has been demonstrated. In this work we show such states can exist in a two-level atom driven by both an amplitude- and phase- modulated field.

Realization of trapping in a two-level system with frequency-modulated fields

We demonstrate the existence of population-trapping states in a two-level system driven by a frequency-modulated field. We present detailed numerical results on trapping and also on jumps in the system which occur when the energy levels cross.

The atomic quantum behaviors in the system of two-mode squeezed vacuum field interacting with a two-level atom via two-photon process are studied by means of quantum theory. The condition for the occurrence of coherent trapping and the influence of the squeezing parameters on the atomic dipole squeezing are discussed.

FEEDFORWARD CONTROL FOR TWO-LEVEL ATOM IN MODULATED OPTICAL FIELD

Saif Ullah, Sergey Borisenok

We propose a model of feedforward (open-loop) optical control of two-level atom in the linearized form. This model allows to express the general form of solution for the atomic level populations via the arbitrary shapes of the control signal. Then we make numerical investigations of different shapes for the optical control signal.

Emission spectrum of two two-level atoms driven by a quantum field

Hong Mei Guo

We give an analytical expression of emission spectrum for two different two-level atoms interacted with one-mode field. The effect of initial state of system on the emission spectrum for two-level atoms is explored, and the conditions leading to atom coherent population trapping are investigated.
