Abstract

We have studied fidelity of two-level atom interacting with nonlinear coherent state light field by numerical calculation method. The variations of the fidelity with the parameter of light field, initial states of the atom and Lamb-Dicke parameter of the nonlinear coherent state are discussed respectively. It is shown that we can find light field state with larger average fidelity and smaller oscillation amplitude by selecting the appropriate parameters. If we regard light field as a quantum information carrier,to find high-fidelity nonlinear coherent states is to find a strong anti-interference ability quantum state which has great application value in quantum communication process.

Fidelity of Interacting System Containing the Binomial Light Field and a Moving Two-level Atom

Liang Bao-Long

By means of numerical methods,we studied the fidelity of the system which contained a moving two-level atom and the binomial light field. The impact of different initial states is discussed to the fidelity of quantum states. The result showed that the velocity of atom effect the oscillation period of the fidelity, and different initial state of atom and the optical field parameters on the fidelity have a bigger influence. When the atom is in superposition state and the field has a bigger initial average number of photons the fidelity of the system has a higher value.

Properties of fidelity evolution in the system composed of two-level atoms and single-model field

Wang Ju-xia

The process of two-atom interacting with light field under considering atom-atom coupling and intensity-dependent coppling are investigated by mean of full quantum theory. The analysis law of evolutionary process of atomical fidelity is obtained. It is found that the variation of atomical fidelity with time presents the oscillation characteristics. The light field could revert to the initial coherent state at some microtime and the value of atomical fidelity less than 1 during most of interacting process, that is,both light fields and atoms are in complex entangled states. The above mentioned show that the interaction between atoms and light fields may leads to maintaining or cancaling the initial entanglement states.

Relevance Between Fidelity and Degree of Entanglement in the System of Two-level Atoms Interacting with Multi-mode Fields

Wang Ju-xi

The atom fidelity and degree of entanglement were calculated in the system consisting of M two-level atoms and M multi-mode fields by use of complete quantum theory and number computing method.Through number computing and analyzing,it was found that the atom fidelity and the atom entangled degree present always oscillatory with opposite in phase if initial atoms are in separate state, and both of their frequency gradually increase with the intensity of light field increasing. The atom fidelity tends to 0and degree of entanglement tends to 1under strongly coupling between atoms and light fields. The small fidelity is disadvantage of information transfer but high-fidelity atom information transfer can still obtained by controlling appropriately interaction time.

Evolution of the quantum fidelity in a system of multimode light field interacting resonantly with a two-level atom through degenerate multi-photon process

Wang Ju-xia

The time evolution properties of the quantum fidelity in a system of multi-mode coherent light field resonantly interacting with a two-level atom via any Nj-degenerate N∑-photon transition process are studied by the fully quantum theory and numerical calculations. The analytical expressions of the quantum fidelity of field and atom, and the numerical calculation results for three-mode field interacting with the atom are obtained. Our attention focuses on the discussion of the influences of the initial average photon number, the atomic distribution angle, the phase angle of the atom dipole, the field excitation angle, and the atomic degeneracy on the evolution of the quantum fidelity. The results obtained from the numerical calculation indicate that the above factors lead to the quantum fidelity changing with oscillation behavior. The quantum fidelity of field and atom will drastically decrease as the initial light increases, which is correlated sensitively with the fidelity. The speed change of quantum fidelity is strongly dependent on the atomic degeneracy and the intensity coupling between atoms and fields. The value and frequency of the quantum fidelity change lightly with the atomic distribution angle and the angle of light field excitation as well. The phase angles of the atom dipole almost have no influences on the quantum fidelity of field and atom. According to these properties of the quantum fidelity, we can control the speed and value of quantum fidelity in the system by these constraint conditions.

The cavity field spectra of two coupled atoms interacting with a radiation field are investigated. The results for the initial fields in nonlinear coherent states are calculated. The effects of dipole-dipole interaction of atoms and the Lamb-Dicke parameter of the nonlinear coherent state fields on the cavity field spectra are analyzed.
