Abstract

The cavity field spectra of two coupled atoms interacting with a radiation field are investigated. The results for the initial fields in nonlinear coherent states are calculated. The effects of dipole-dipole interaction of atoms and the Lamb-Dicke parameter of the nonlinear coherent state fields on the cavity field spectra are analyzed.

Cavity field spectrum of two coupled atoms Raman interacting with single mode field

Yun Liang Gao

The cavity field spectrum of two coupled atoms Raman interacting with a simgle mode field in an ideal cavity is investigated. The effects of dipole dipole interaction of atoms and exchange symmetry of the initial state of atoms on the cavity field spectra are analyzed. It is found that five peak structure appears for weak fields, and three peak structure appears for strong field. When the two atoms are in the different state initially, the exchange symmetry of the atoms play a decisive role in the structure of the cavity field spectra.

Quantum properties of two-level atoms interacting with nonlinear coherent states

Wen-Jian Yu, Ji‐Suo Wang, Liang Bao-Long

Using the numerical method, we study the collapse and the recovery of atom, the anti-bunching and the amplitude-squared squeezing of two-level atoms interacting with nonlinear coherent field. The variations of the quantum properties with the parameter of light field, the initial state of the atom and the Lamb-Dicke parameter of the nonlinear coherent state are discussed.

Effects of Dipole Interaction on Emission Spectra of Atoms in Two-Photon Processes

Zhenfei Luo, Zhizhan Xu, Lei Xu

We study the interaction of a pair of coupling two-level atoms with a single mode of the radiation field in an ideal cavity via two-photon resonant transition and/or degenerate Raman coupled processes. In particular, we consider the emission spectra for both two-photon processes. The effects of atomic coupling are analyzed and the properties of emission spectra for large photon number of the cavity-mode are discussed.

Cavity field spectrum of a pair of coupled atoms Javnes-Cummings model

Gao Yun-feng

The cavity field spectrum of a pair of coupled two-level atoms interacting with single mode field is studied. The results for the initial fields in pure number state, coherent state or squeezed vacuum state are presented and discussed. The effect of dipole-dipole coupling constant gαp on the cavity field spectrum is analyzed. It is found that four Rabi peaks appear for small gαp and three Rabi peaks for large gα when the field is vacuum initially. When the field is pure number state initially, the structure of the cavity field spectrum is five peaks for weak field and three peaks for strong field. When the fields are in a coherent state or squeezed vacuum state, a multi-peak structure appears generally. The peak-position and peak-height of the spectrum are both influenced by gα, but this influence is evident for weak field only.
