Abstract

Antibunching effect is investigated in the system of a (?)-type three-level moving atom interacting with a single-mode field in Kerr medium, and how the second-order correlation function is influenced by Kerr medium and atomic motion.

We have studied antibunching effects in a system where a two level atom interacts with a single mode field surrounded by a Kerr like medium in a high Q cavity through two photon transition, particularly shown the influence of the coupling constant between a Kerr like medium and field, detuning on antibunching under different initial atomic states.

INTERACTION OF TWO-MODE SU(1,1) COHERENT STATES WITH THE V-TYPE THREE-LEVEL ATOM IN A KERR-LIKE-MEDIUM

LAI YUN-ZHONG, Liang Jiu-Qing, (1)山西大学理论物理研究所; (2)太原重型机械学院基础部

We first derive the state vector of a V-type three-level atom interacting with two-mode SU (1,1) coherent states in a Kerr-like medium. It is shown by numericl calculations that the Kerr effect results indifferent characters of the Rabi oscillation, as compared with the two-levelatom case, while the correlation of the two-mode coherent states is less affected by the the Kerr medium. We also discuss the influence of Kerr effect on the Cauchy-Schwartz inequality.

Optimum coupling between a Ʌ-type three-level atom and a single-mode nonlinear field

M Rastegarzadeh, Mohammad Kazem Tavassoly

Based on the generalization of the Jaynes-Cummings model, we study the interaction between a Ʌ-type three-level atom and a single-mode radiation field in an intensity-dependent regime, in which the effect of Kerr-like medium is obtained by using an appropriate deformation function. Via the periodic condition, we will find an optimum value of coupling constant in resonance condition for which the atom suffers transitions with maximum (unit) probability, periodically.

Higher-Order Squeezing for Atomic Dipole of a Three-Level Atom in the Kerr-Like Medium Cavity Fields

卢俊, 许毅, 董传华

In this paper, evolution of the higher-order squeezing for atomic dipole of three-level atom in the Kerr-like medium is investigated. The atom discussed has two configurations and is driven by the single-mode coherent state field. Our results show that the squeezing effects are clearly influenced by nonlinear parameters, the initial atom state and the detuning.

In this paper, the squeezing effects of field in the interaction of coherent state with a three level cascade atom initially in a stimulating state in a Kerr medium are investigated. The influences of the Kerr medium and the atom field coupling contants on the squeezing effects of field are also discussed.
