Modeling and Simulation Based on the Conjecture of Wave-Particle Duality of Light

Lv Fangcheng

Based on the wave-particle duality of light, many scholars have proposed different guesses,to explain the linear propagation, diffraction and interference of light. In this article, mathematical modeling and simulation verification have been carried out on three guesses based on the wave-particle duality of light. With the Matlab tool, the optical phenomenon, such as diffraction, are used to verify the corresponding guess, and the results are compared with the book Optical Principle.

Computer Simulation of Light Interference Experiment

Xiaoyan Zhang

Computer simulation is a very important means in present scientific research. The experiment of light interference is mainly to verify the wave character in University Physics. In this paper, the typical light interference experiments of Yong's double slit and Newton ring have been simulated using the method of Monte-Carlo based on the random nature of photon. The interference patterns are exquisite and lifelike. It appears the particle properties of light. So it can deepen students' understanding of wave-particle parallelism.
