Abstract

The higher order antibunching effect of the q-electromagnetic field is defined. The 3rd order antibunching effect of the k-boson q-coherent states is numerically studied. It is shown that the k-boson q-coherent state(k =3,4,5,…)can exhibit the 3rd order antibunching effect. And the 3rd order antibunching effect increases as k increases.

The Higher Order Antibunching Effect of the Excited k-Boson q-Coherent States

Jiang Jun-qin

The 3rd order antibunching effect of the excited k-boson q-coherent states a+mq|z,k,j〉q(k≥3) is numerically studied. It is shown that the 3rd order antibunching effect is evidently dependent on m.For small x(namely,in the main region),when j=0,the excited states(m≠0) exhibit strong 3rd order antibunching effect but the unexcited states(m≠0) cannot exhibit 3rd order antibunching effect;when j≠0,adding photon(excitation) makes against the 3rd order antibunching effect.

kth-order antibunching effect for a new kind of excited even and oddq-coherent states

Jiang Jun-qin

A new kind of excited even q-coherent states (a−1q)m|αeq and excited odd q-coherent states (a−1q)m|αoq is constructed by acting with inverse boson operators on the even and odd q-coherent states. The m dependence of the kth-order antibunching effect is numerically studied for k = 2, 3, 4, 5. It is shown that the kth-order antibunching effect enhances as m increases. The larger k, the quicker the antibunching effect enhances.

Antibunching Effect of the Excited k-Boson q-Coherent States

Jun Jiang

The excited k-boson q-coherent state a +m qz,k,j〉 q is constructed. The m dependence of the antibunching effect is numerically studied. It is shown that the antibunching effect evidently depends on m: For big x(x=z 2), the excitation can change the region where the antibunching effect appears; For small x, when j=0, the excited states exhibit strong antibunching effect but the unexcited states exhibit strong bunching effect; For small x, when j≠0, both the excited states and the unexcited states exhibit strong antibunching effect.

Higher-Order Squeezing and Antibunching Effect for the Odd and Even Generalized q-Coherent States of the Non-harmonic Oscillator

Zhong Wang

The higher order squeezing and antibunching effect for the odd and even generalized q coherent states of the non harmonic oscillator are investigated. The numerical method is used to study these effects for the two expressions of q number . It is shown that the odd and even generalized q coherent states of the non harmonic oscillator present higher order (order of odd number) squeezing effect and antibunching effect respectively, and these optical statistics properties are very different from those of the states of the harmonic oscillator.

Sub-Poissonian Character and Antibunching Effect of q-deformed Coherent State

Jiang Jun-qin

This paper defines the Mandel Q-parameter of the q-deformed coherent state, and deduces the relation between the q-deformed Mandel Q-parameter and the q-deformed second-order correlation function. It proves that both the sub-Poissonian character and the antibunching effect in the q-deformed coherent state are not equivalent. The sub-Poissonian character of the photon-added k-boson q-coherent state is numerically studied. The result indicates that the sub-Poissonian character is evidently dependent on increased number m of photons.
