Abstract

Quantum mechanics is a branch of physics, studying the movement of microscopic particles. It has realized the great leap of human understanding, from the macroscopic world to the microscopic world. In the establishing process of quantum mechanics, from the birth of quantum theory, the matrix mechanics and wave mechanics to the final establishment of quantum mechanics, the physicists, represented by Schrodinger and Heisenberg, have made an indelible contribution by using innovative thinking. The establishment illustrates the important role of creative thinking in the development of science. We should apply the concept of creative thinking to the applied talents training.

The cracks of classical mechanics and the Birth of quantum mechanics

Yichen Lyu

At the end of the 19th century, with the development of Newton's classical mechanics and Maxwell's electromagnetism, a great number of individuals believed that the laws of physics had reached the point of perfection. Physicists like Pierre-Simon Laplace even thought that Newtonian mechanics could be used to calculate the future. However, the "dark clouds" such as the Michelson-Morley experiment and black body radiation demonstrated the flaws of the classical theory. With the efforts of quantum mechanics pioneers such as Planck, Einstein, Schrodinger, and Heisenberg, the discipline of quantum mechanics has gradually developed and has become the key to opening the door to the microscopic world. This paper demonstrates the cracks that occurred in classical physics at the end of the 19th century, and then illustrates the birth of the quantum mechanics and some of the most important concepts of it. Finally, some cutting-edge technologies related to quantum are introduced.

Investigation of the Principles of Quantum Mechanics and Their Applications

Daqiq Rahman Hotak

Quantum mechanics is one of the most significant scientific theories in modern physics, concerned with the behavior of matter and energy at the atomic and subatomic scales. By introducing concepts such as the quantization of energy, wave–particle duality, the uncertainty principle, quantum superposition, and quantum entanglement, this theory has fundamentally transformed humanity's understanding of the underlying structure of the universe. The importance of studying quantum mechanics lies not only in its ability to explain the fundamental phenomena of nature but also in its extensive contribution to the development of advanced technologies, including quantum computing, medical imaging, laser technology, secure communications, and nanotechnology. The objective of this article is to examine the fundamental principles of quantum mechanics and analyze their applications across various scientific and technological fields. This study employs a library-based research method with a descriptive–analytical approach. The required data were collected and analyzed through an extensive review of books, peer-reviewed scientific articles, and other authoritative sources in the field of quantum physics. The findings indicate that quantum mechanics, in addition to playing a fundamental role in understanding the subatomic world, constitutes one of the principal foundations for the advancement of modern technologies. Furthermore, the results suggest that the continued development of quantum technologies has the potential to exert profound impacts on scientific, industrial, and medical fields in the future. Consequently, quantum mechanics is not merely a fundamental physical theory but also a key driver of innovation and transformation in contemporary science and technology.

THE THEORY OF QUANTUM AND IT'S INFLUENCE TO MODERN SOCIETY

Zhang Wu-na

At the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century, deep crisis of the physics promoted itself great revolution, thus the quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity emerged. The establishment of quantum theory, opened the people to know the microcosm, has laid the solid rationale for the physics and even the entire natural sciences development. No one branch of modern physics and correlated peripheral subjects are not based on quantum .Quantum theory are changing modern science and technology profoundly and influencing humanity's thought as well. Reviewing the development of the course, we can feel the far-reaching influence of the quantum theory on the people's epistemology and the world outlook.

100 years of quantum mechanics: The months that changed physics

Milan R. Pantić

A hundred years ago, physics underwent one of its most dramatic transformations - a paradigm shift that fundamentally changed our understanding of nature. Over the course of several revolutionary months in 1925 and early 1926, quantum mechanics emerged as a new, foundational theory of the microscopic world. With the publication of key papers by Werner Heisenberg and Erwin Schrödinger, the theoretical framework was established that radically redefined our perception of physical reality. These works demonstrated that atoms and subatomic particles do not obey the laws of classical mechanics, but instead follow entirely new, quantum laws. Born in those intense months, quantum mechanics became one of the cornerstones of modern physics and a lasting source of inspiration in both theoretical and applied sciences. This paradigmatic shift opened new avenues of research and laid the groundwork for scientific discoveries that continue to shape our understanding of nature today. This paper is dedicated to those pivotal historical moments - the months in which science made one of its deepest leaps and most consequential strides in comprehending the world.

Teaching Study of Basic Conception in Quantum Physics

Hu Xing

Quantum physics and classical physics are two of important parts in the integrated physics. They differs in studying fields and researching methods, but both respectively play the very important role in propelling the society forward and improving people's understanding of the physical world.Quantum physics describes the laws of motion in microscopic field, which needs us to face the new mathematical tools, new modes of thinking and many new conceptions different from the traditional classical physics.Only by grasping the key contents, starting with the basic conceptions and understanding deeply the physical connotation can we acquire the desired teaching effects with saved efforts.

A Review of Fundamental Concepts in Quantum Physics

Ornella Tshering

Quantum physics, also known as quantum mechanics, is one of the most profound and successful theories in modern science, fundamentally transforming our understanding of the microscopic world. It governs the behavior of matter and energy at atomic and subatomic scales, where classical physics fails to provide accurate explanations. This review paper presents a comprehensive examination of the fundamental concepts of quantum physics, including wave–particle duality, quantum states, superposition, uncertainty principle, quantum measurement, entanglement, and quantum dynamics. The paper traces the historical development of quantum theory, reviews seminal contributions from key physicists, and analyzes major theoretical frameworks such as Schrödinger’s wave mechanics, Heisenberg’s matrix mechanics, and Dirac’s formalism. A systematic literature review of 25 scholarly sources is conducted to highlight the evolution, interpretations, and applications of quantum concepts. A comparative analysis of classical and quantum physics is provided to emphasize conceptual differences and paradigm shifts. The discussion explores philosophical implications, experimental validations, and emerging applications in quantum computing, cryptography, and quantum technologies. Finally, the paper concludes by summarizing key insights and outlining future directions for research and education in quantum physics.
