Abstract

Entropy exchange of atom interacting with gray-body radiation field in Jaynes-Cummings Model is investigated. The effect of detuning and the photon-number distribution on entropy exchange is discussed. The result shows that the vibration cycle of the atom and photon field linear entropy is determined by detuning, the altitude of the entropy exchanging is related with radiation intensity, cav- ity temperature and its absorption coefficient.

Entropy exchange and entanglement of a moving atom with k-photon Jaynes-Cummings model

Jicheng Wang, Liao Qing-Hong, Yueyuan Wang +2 more

The entropy correlation and the entanglement of a moving atom interacting with k-photon Jaynes-Cummings model are investigated. Entropy exchange between atomic and field subsystems, which is a form of anti-correlated behavior, is explored. Analytical results show that atomic motion, transition number k of field and field-mode structure can influence the entropy exchange between atom and light field. Moreover, the relationship between entropy correlations and entanglement is also discussed.

Evolution of the entropy of light field interacting with the V-type three-level atom via intensity-dependent coupling

Huang Chun-Jia, He Hui-Yong, Kong Fan-Zhi +2 more

The evolution properties of the entropy of a single-mode light field interacting with the V-type three-level atom via intensity-dependent coupling have been studied. The discussion is centered on the influence of detuning and initial photon number on the field entropy evolution. The results show that the behavi or of the field entropy is non-periodic for the cases of small detuning and weak initial light field, being similar to the single-photon Jaynes-Cummings model (JCM). On the contrary, the field entropy evolution is periodic for the cases of large detuning or strong initial light field, being similar to the two-photon JCM

The atom and field linear entropies of a two-level atom interacting with gray-body field are investigated. The effect of the atomic initial state, detuning, intensity of the incident field, absorptivity of the cavity and temperature of the system on the atom and field linear entropies are dicussed.

A general expression of emission spectrum for a two-level atom interacting with gray-body radiation field is given in this paper. We investigate how the photon-number distribution of the incident field, the absorptivity of the cavity and the temperature of the system affect the time-dependent physical spectrum.

Linear entropy dynamics of the field in the Jaynes-Cummings model with an intensity-dependent coupling in the dispersive approximation

李春先, 方卯发

We present the linear entropy dynamics of the field state in the dispersive cavity in the Jaynes-Cummings model with an intensity-dependent coupling in the dispersive approximation, and investigate the influence of dissipation on entanglement between the field and the atoms. We show that the coherence properties of the field are also affected by the cavity when the nonlinear process of the field interacting with the atoms with an intensity-dependent coupling is involved, and find that the dissipation constant, the intensity of the field and the atomic distribution angle have different influence on the coherence properties of the field.
