Abstract

The cavity field spectra of two coupling atoms interacting with coherent state of two-mode fields through Raman process in Kerr medium are studied.By solving the eigen equation, the cavity field spectrum expression is given out and some numerical results are presented. It is found that the Kerr effect and the atoms coupling both influence the spectra structures slightly in the case of weak input field. When the input fields are strong, each mode's highest peak becomes lower rapidly with appearance of the Kerr effect.Along with the accretion of Kerr effect,a multi-peak sideband appears in each mode spectrum and the spectral frequency shifts to right.

The cavity field spectra of two coupling atoms interacting with two squeezed vacuum states of field through Raman process in Kerr medium are studied.By solving the eigen equation, the cavity field spectrum expression is given out and some numerical results are presented. It is found that both the Kerr effect and the atoms coupling influence the spectra structures slightly in the case of weak input field. When the input fields are strong, the highest peak at lift with a multi-peak right sideband spectrum like a half comb appears.Along with the accretion of Kerr effect, the peak-space of the sideband increases and the spectral frequency shifts away from the resonant frequency.A multi-peak spectrum checkered with different height appears with the stronger Kerr effect.

Emission spectrum of two atoms interacting with light field in the kerr medium

Feng Jian

The emission spectra of two coupling atoms in a high Q cavity with an additional Kerr medium are investigated. The results for the initial fields in pure number states or coherent states are presented. The effects of Kerr medium on the emission spectra are analyzed. When the inject field is in a coherent state with large average photon number n , single high peak at center and two multi-peak sidebands like comb spectrum appear. The peak-number of the sidebands increases along with accretion of n . The peak-space increases along with accretion of Kerr effect. The two sidebands will leave away due to the increase of the average photon number or the Kerr effect.

Cavity Field Spectra of Two Coupling Atoms in a Cavity with Kerr Medium

Gao Yun-feng

The cavity field spectra of two coupling atom Jaynes-Cummings(J-C) model with Kerr-like medium were studied. The calculation results for the initial fields in pure number state and the atom in the upper level were presented.Effects of Kerr medium on the spectral structure were discussed. It is found that every peak frequency get a rise with the increase of the Kerr-effect.Four Rabi peaks appear when the field is vacuum. Two Rabi peaks become weaker until disappearing with χ/g increase. The other two peaks get the highest at χ/g≈0.7 and the peak-space increases gently. When n0,only one peak rises to the highest point, the others reduce until disappearing. The cavity field spectra become single-peak structure.

Cavity Field Spectra of a Cascade Three-Level Atom Interacting with a Single-Mode Field with Kerr-Like Medium

Gao Yun-feng, Jian Feng, Zhang Gui-Ming

The cavity field spectrum of a cascade three-level atom interacting with single-mode field with Kerr-like medium in the cavity is investigated. The numerical results for the initial field in pure number state, coherent state and squeezed vacuum state are calculated, respectively. It is found that the Kerr-like medium affects the spectral structure even though the initial field is in vacuum when the atom is in upper level. In the case of strong input field, the number state spectrum shows two peaks with different heights; and the superposition state spectrum shows a multi-peak structure with an equal distance of two neighboring peaks. The spectral ``central frequency" shifts away from the resonant frequency with the increasing of average photon number.

Cavity field spectrum of two coupled atoms Raman interacting with single mode field

Yun Liang Gao

The cavity field spectrum of two coupled atoms Raman interacting with a simgle mode field in an ideal cavity is investigated. The effects of dipole dipole interaction of atoms and exchange symmetry of the initial state of atoms on the cavity field spectra are analyzed. It is found that five peak structure appears for weak fields, and three peak structure appears for strong field. When the two atoms are in the different state initially, the exchange symmetry of the atoms play a decisive role in the structure of the cavity field spectra.
