Exact Eigenvalues and Eigenfunctions of the Hulthen Potential in the PT-Symmetry for Any Angular Momentum

Sameer M. Ikhdair, R. Sever

The Schrodinger equation with the PT-symmetric Hulthen potential is solved exactly by taking into account effect of the centrifugal barrier for any l-state. Eigenfunctions are obtained in terms of the Jacobi polynomials. The Nikiforov-Uvarov method is used in the computations. Our numerical results are in good agreement with the ones obtained before. THE ANALYTICAL SOLUTIONS OF THE SCHRODINGER EQUATION WITH GENERALIZED HULTHEN PLUS A NEW RING SHAPED LIKE POTENTIAL

A. N. Ikot, Eser Olğar, HASSAN HASSANABADI

In this paper, we study the Schrödinger equation with the generalized Hulthen potential plus a new ring shaped potential. We obtained approximately the bound state energy spectra and the corresponding wave function using the functional analysis method. We use the well-known Hellmann-Feynmann theorem to calculate the expectation values for ,, and .We also discussed the special case of the potential which is consistent with the results found in the literature.

The energy eigenvalue spectrum and the eigenfunctions of schr*idinger equation with Hulthen potential are obtained. The results shows that Hulthen potential is shape-invarint and the number of bounded states of a particle in Hulthen potential is finite.
