Abstract

The fidelities of quantum states of system in Jaynes-Cummings model considering the dissipation of cavity were studied by using the complete quantum theory. The influences of the cavity damping constant and the numerical value of initial mean photon number on the fidelities of quantum states was discussed. It was found that both of them affect the fidelities of atom and of atom-cavity system obviously.

Fidelities of quantum states in intensity-dependent Jaynes-Cummings model

Rao Jintong, Wang Jiasi, Liang Jun

Based on the quantum theory and numerical calculation, the fidelities of quantum states were investigated in intensity-dependent Jaynes-Cummings model containing atomic motion under the interaction of coherent field. The analytical expressions of the fidelities of quantum states were derived and simulation results were obtained. In addition, the influence of atomic motion and the field mode structure on the fidelities of quantum states of the system in different atomic initial states was discussed. The results indicate that both the atomic motion and the field mode structure can modulate the fidelities of quantum states in the system of interaction. The greater the velocities of atomic motion, the higher the fidelities of the three systems are.On the other hand, the larger the field mode structures, the higher fidelity of the three systems. The results are meaningful for the development of quantum communication and quantum calculation.

The properties of linear entropy in the J-C model with large detuning inside a phase cavity in the process of double photons

Chao Dong

The evolution of the linear entropies of the field, atoms and field-atoms coupling system in the system of two completely identical two-level atoms inside a phase-damping cavity interacting with a coherent field under large detuning are investigated. The effects of atomic initial state, the mean photon number of the field and the dissipation coefficient on the above linear entropies are discussed. The results show that the linear entropies of both the field and the atom are strongly dependent on the atomic initial state, but the evolution of the linear entropy of the system is independent of the atomic initial preparation. With the increasing of the mean photon number, the linear entropies of field, atoms and field-atoms increase; And the larger the dissipation, the more rapid the linear entropies of the field and system tend to the certain degree of mixture, but the linear entropies of atoms don't vary with the dissipation coefficient.

Evolution of atom's occupancy of two-atom system at mixed state in cavity QED

MA Mei-juan

The time evolution of atom's occupation in a double Jaynes-Cummings model, where two atoms are in mixed state, was investigated by full quantum theory and numerical method, and the influences of atomic initial state and mean photon number in cavity on atom's occupancy are discussed. The results show when the two cavities have the same photon number, evolution of atom's occupation is only related to the purity r of atomic initial state and field intensity, but not influenced by initial entanglement. If the mean photon number in cavities is not equal, the evolution of atom's occupation is not only related to the purity r and field intensity, but also strongly influenced by the initial entanglement.
