Abstract

The insecurity of the protocols for quantum secret sharing(QSS) based on entanglement swapping was analyzed, and a new method of QSS based on entanglement swapping was proposed. The entanglement states were all generated by the sender, and the order of two photons sent to the same agent was randomly changed. After the photons arrived at the receiver, for the detection mode, the order of the two photons was announced,so that the two parties detected the security of the quantum channel;for the information mode, the two receivers respectively did Bell measurement on the two photons they owned, and then communicated through classical channel to share the secret key with the sender.Analysis results show that this protocol not only ensures the validity and security of the shared information, but also only uses the entanglement states of two photons without unitary operation.

A modified protocol of quantum state sharing based on entanglement swapping and random EPR selection

Jian Tao Dong, Jianfu Teng, Shuyan Wang

Quantum secret sharing (QSS), an important branch of quantum communication, is the generalization of classical secret sharing into quantum scenario. The secret messages are split into several parts, and each part is distributed to a separate party so that no action of a subset of all the parties without the cooperation of the entire group is able to read out the secret messages. In this paper, a quantum state sharing protocol is proposed by using entanglement swapping and random EPR selection. The EPR pairs of Bell-state measurement are selected randomly by the sender Alice, which can improve the security of the scheme and raise probability of detecting Eve to 95.8%. In addition, difference coding is used in this protocol to achieve a high efficiency. The security of the present multiparty QSS against eavesdropping has been analyzed. It is convenient in application as it require only two qubit entanglements, one measuring-basis and two-qubit joint measurements, not GHZ states, for sharing an arbitrary secret two-qubit state.

Quantum secure communication protocols based on entanglement swapping

Jian Wang, Quan Zhang, Chaojing Tang

We present a quantum secure direct communication protocol and a multiparty quantum secret sharing protocol based on Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pairs and entanglement swapping. The present quantum secure direct communication protocol makes use of the ideal of block transmission. We also point out that the sender can encode his or her secret message without ensuring the security of the quantum channel firstly. In the multiparty quantum secret sharing protocol, the communication parties adopt checking mode or encoding mode with a certain probability. It is not necessary for the protocol to perform local unitary operation. In both the protocols, one party transmits only one photon for each Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen pair to another party and the security for the transmitting photons is ensured by selecting Z-basis or X-basis randomly to measure the sampling photons.

Multiparty quantum secret sharing of classical messages based on entanglement swapping

Zhanjun Zhang, Zhong‐Xiao Man

A multiparty quantum secret sharing (QSS) protocol of classical messages (i.e., classical bits) is proposed by using swapping quantum entanglement of Bell states. The secret messages are imposed on Bell states by local unitary operations. The secret messages are split into several parts, and each part is distributed to a separate party so that no action of a subset of all the parties without the cooperation of the entire group is able to read out the secret messages. In addition, dense coding is used in this protocol to achieve a high efficiency. The security of the present multiparty QSS against eavesdropping has been analyzed and confirmed even in a noisy quantum channel.

Quantum Secret Sharing Based on Entanglement Swapping and Local Operation

Qin Su-juan, Tailin Liu, Wen Qiao-yan

To improve the efficiency of quantum secret sharing, a protocol share the message directly among the users was proposed. The scheme made full use of entanglement swapping of Bell states and local operations. For detection of eavesdropping, the EPR pairs were divided into two parts: the checking parts and the encoding parts. After insuring the security of the quantum channel by measuring the checking particles in conjugate bases, the sender encoded her bits via the local unitary operations on the encoding parts. Investigation shows that the protocol is secure and two Bell states can be used to share two bits message.

Multiple-participant measurement-device-independent quantum secret sharing protocol based on entanglement swapping

Tao Zhang, Lan Zhou, Wei Zhong +1 more

Abstract Quantum secret sharing (QSS) is a multi-party quantum communication mode, which allows the dealer to split a key into several parts and send each part of a key to a participant. The participants can obtain the key only by cooperation. Entanglement swapping is a promising method to construct the entanglement channel. In the paper, we propose a multiple-participant measurement-device-independent QSS protocol based on entanglement swapping. All the measurement tasks are handed over to an untrusted measurement party, so that our protocol can resist all possible attacks from imperfect measurement devices. Our protocol requires the linear-optical Bell state analysis, which is easy to operate. Our protocol has application potential in the future quantum communication field.

Quantum key distribution protocol based on any Bell states

Liu Lin-Yao, HU Meng-Jun, Guangjun Xie

In order to improve the security and efficiency of quantum key distribution protocol,a protocol was proposed based on entanglement swapping. The two parties of communication establish the key by performing the Bell state measurement. No other people can get the key without being found.Different from the proposed protocol, the Bell measurement of any two Bell states can be realized to achieve the purpose of quantum key distribution. It does not need multi-particle entangled state but only EPR pair to realize the protocol.Analysis results showed that this protocol not only ensures the security of the quantum key shared information, but also uses the entanglement states of two photons without unitary operation. And the protocol is simple and efficient.
