Abstract

We present a physical scheme for entanglement concentration of unknown atomic entangled states via cavity decay. In the scheme, each of the atoms is a three-level system, which has two ground states(|g〉,|e〉),and an excited state(|r〉),the atomic state is used as stationary qubit and photonic state as flying qubit. There are two nonmaximally entangled atom-pairs,one atom of every atom-pairs are capped in two leaked cavity, respectively. In the case of large detuning and the upper level |r〉 can be decoupled from the evolution during the interaction, applying classical laser pulses on the capped atoms and by detecting the photons leaked from the cavities,a close maximally entangled state can be obtained from the two pairs of partially atomic entangled states probabilistically. Our scheme is practical and the remote entangled states concentration via high quality fiber will be convenient.

Scheme for entanglement concentration of unknown atomic entangled states by interference of polarized photons

Hong‐Fu Wang, Ai‐Dong Zhu, Shou Zhang +1 more

Based on the interference effect of polarized photons, we propose a practical scheme for entanglement concentration of unknown atomic entangled states. In the scheme, two λλ-type atoms belonging to different entangled pairs are individually trapped in two spatially separated cavities. By the subsequent detection of the polarized photons leaking out of the separate optical cavities, Alice and Bob as two distant parties can probabilistically extract one maximally entangled four-atom Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state from two identical partially entangled Einstein–Podolsky–Rosen (EPR) pairs. We also discuss the influence of cavity decay on the success probability of the scheme. The scheme is feasible and within the reach of current experimental technology.

CONCENTRATION FOR ATOMIC ENTANGLEMENT STATES VIA CAVITY DECAY

Gang Zhang, Ming Yang, Zheng‐Yuan Xue +1 more

We present a physical scheme for entanglement concentration of atomic entangled states via cavity QED. In our scheme cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission are taken into consideration, and the atomic qubit is used as stationary qubit and photonic qubit as flying qubit, thus it is more practical to discuss entanglement concentration.

Concentration of Unknown Atomic Entangled States via Entanglement Swapping through Raman Interaction

Jin-hua Zou, Xiangming Hu

We show that entanglement concentration of unknown atomic entangled states is achieved via the implementation of entanglement swapping based on Raman interaction in cavity QED. A maximally entangled state is obtained from a pair of partially entangled states probabilistically. Due to Raman interaction of two atoms with a cavity mode and an external driving field, the influence of atomic spontaneous emission has been eliminated. Because of the virtual excitation of the cavity mode, the decoherence of cavity decay and thermal field is neglected.

Entanglement concentration for unknown atomic entangled states via entanglement swapping

Ming Yang, Yan Zhao, Wei Song +1 more

An entanglement concentration scheme for unknown atomic entanglement states is proposed via entanglement swapping in cavity QED. Because the interaction used here is a large-detuned one between two driven atoms and a quantized cavity mode, the effects of the cavity decay and thermal field have been eliminated. These advantages can warrant the experimental feasibility of the current scheme.

Scheme for Teleportation of Unknown Entangled Atomic States via Cavity Decay

Zhang Li-hua, Zheng‐Yuan Xue, Yang Ming +1 more

We present a physical scheme to teleport an unknown atomic entangled state via cavity decay. In the teleportation process, four-particle Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) state is used as quantum channel, and two unknown entangled atoms and two of four atoms in the four-particle GHZ state are trapped in four leaky cavities, respectively. Based on the joint detection of the photons leak out from the four cavities, we can teleport an unknown entangled state to two other remote atoms with certain probability and high fidelity.
