Abstract

The entropy envolution properties in the system of the binomial optical field interacting with a two-level atom was inverstigated by calculating Milburn equation. The influences of instrinsic decoherece, the parameters η of the binomial optical field and photon number on the entropy evolution were discussed. It is shown that the quasi-periodicity of the entropy vibration will become weak for the intrinsic decoherece. When the binomial optical field is at the middle states, and the entanglement in the field-atom system approaches to a certain value with time evolution. So the entanglement can be kept with intrinsic decoherece. The value of field entropy decreases and the entanglement is weaken for the binomial optical field changing from a coherent state to a middle state then to a fock state as the parameter of intrinsic decoherece is at a fixed value.

With the consideration of Milburn model of intrinsic decoherece, the atomic population inversion in the system of the binomial optical field interacting with a two-level atom is inverstigated. The influences of instrinsic decoherece, the parameters η of the binomial optical field and photon number on the atomic population inversion are discussed. The result show that the phenomena of collapse and revival will also appear with the intrinsic decoherece. The amplitude of the Rabi oscillation will be reduced to zero with the evolution of being time. The decay process is at faster rate with the values of the parameters of the instrinsic decoherece smaller. When the binomial optical state changes from a coherent state to a middle state then to a Fock state, the phenomena of collapse and revival can also occur. The Rabi oscillation frequency of the atomic population increases apparently. The phenomena of collapse and revival disappear as photon number increases.

The field entropy evolution of Schrdinger cat state light field interacting with the atom under intrinsic decoherence condition

Wu Shu

The field entropy evolution in a system of the Schrodinger cat state light field interacting with a two-level atom was studied by solving Milburn equation. The influence of intrinsic decoherence, the strength of light field and the phase angle between the two coherence states on the field entropy evolution was discussed. The results show that the field entropy vibration will be weak gradually because of the intrinsic decoherence, and the degree of entanglement in the field-atom system approaches to a certain value with time evolution.Furthermore, the degree of entanglement in the field-atom system only depends on the strength of light field and the phase angle between the two coherence states, and have nothing to do with intrinsic decoherence. When the strength of light field is relatively small, the degree of entanglement is maximum in a system of a two-level atom interacting with an odd coherence state light field, and it is minimum in a system of a two-level atom interacting with an even coherence state light field;it is intermediate for a system of a two-level atom interacting with Yurke-Stoler coherence state light field. When the intrinsic decoherence is fixed and the strength of light field is relatively large, the degree of entanglement in the field-atom system existing in the Yurke-stoler,the even coherence state and odd coherence state tends to the same.

The Property of Entanglement of the Binomial Optical Field Interacting with the Atom Under Phase Decoherece Condition

Zhang Dong-xia

By means of the quantum theory and the method of the negative eigenvalues of the partial transposition, the properties of entanglement evolution in the system of two two-level atoms coupled to a light field in the binomial state for radiation field are investigated in the presence of phase decoherence in the multiphoton Tavis-Cumming Model. The influences of the maximum number of photons, the coefficient of binomial state for radiation field, the phase decoherence coefficient and the number of the transitional photons on the entanglement degree between two atoms have been discussed. The results show that the entanglement between two atoms will get steady state more easily, and the steady value of the entanglement degree is bigger than before with the increase of the maximum number of photons in the presence of phase decoherence. The entanglement between two atoms will approach a steady state more easily. The steady value will be diminished with the increase of the coefficient of binomial state for radiation field in selecting the proper parameter. The periods of the entanglement evolution are more obvious when the coefficient η of binomial state for radiation field is smaller. The entanglement evolution does not have the periodicity and tends the disentanglement phenomenon easily with the increase of the phase decoherence coefficient. The periods of the entanglement evolution is shorten and the entanglement intensity is weaken with the increase of the number of the transitional photons.

Quantum entanglement of the binomial field interacting with the moving atoms in tavis-cummings model

Cui Ying-hua

The field entropy evolution of two moving atoms interacting with the binomial field in Tavis-Cummings model is studied by means of the quantum theory. The influences of atomic motion and the parameters of the binomial optical field under different initial states are discussed emphatically. With the increase of the parameters of the binomial optical field, the entanglement degree between field and atoms is strengthened firstly and is weakened later. When the field is in the middle states,And as the speed of the moving atoms increases, the atom-field system will stay in the maximum entangled state.the entanglement degree between the field and atoms is weaken and the periodicity of the evolution of the field entropy decreased. When the field is in the middle states and the atoms is at the lower speed, the entanglement between the binomial field and the two atoms can be kept for much longer time.

Quantum entanglement of binomial optical field interacting with moving atom in mixed state

Hongxin Li

Using negative entropy method, the quantum entanglement characteristics of the system of binomial optical field interacting with moving atom were studied. The influences of the atomic initial state,field-mode structure parameter, maximum photon number of binomial field, coefficient of binomial field, transition photon number and detuning were discussed. The results show that the value of entanglement degree of the system appears regular evolution and entanglement sudden death(ESD) phenomenon when atomic motion was considered. The increasing of the field-mode structure parameter shortens the period of the entanglement and results in a slight decreasing of amplitude. The atomic initial state affects the entanglement degree of the system. When the atomic initial state tends to pure state, the entanglement degree of the system is larger relatively. With increase of the maximum photon number of binomial field, the value of the entanglement degree of system becomes small, but the period for regular evolution is almost unchanged. When the field is in the middle states, the entanglement degree is smaller relatively. With the increase of the transition photon number, the value of the entanglement degree of the system becomes larger, the period of the oscillation becomes shorter, meanwhile the oscillation of the system becomes faster and faster. With the detuning increasing, the entanglement becomes small.

Entanglement and intrinsic decoherence in the interaction between two-mode field and atom

Xia Tan, Zhang Cheng-qiang, Yun‐Jie Xia +1 more

Considering the interaction between two-mode SU(1,1) coherence states and a two-level atom, we find an exact solution of the Milburn equation for the system. We investigate the time evolution of the entanglement of field-atom and one of two modes of field using the quantum-reduced entropy and quantum relative entropy, respectively. The influences of intrinsic decoherence and two-mode photon number difference on the evolution of the entanglement of field-atom and one of two modes of field are discussed. It is shown that the entanglement of field-atom reduces to a stationary value with time evolution and the entanglement between two modes increases to another stationary value with intrinsic decoherence, and the values only depend on the two-mode photon number and mean photon number.
