Abstract

The Raman interacting of two different atoms with two-mode cavity fields is studied. the cavity field spectrum expression of the system with the fields in superposition state is given out. Some numerical results for the fields in coherent states, and squeezed vacuum st ates are presented. The effects of relative coupling constant R=g_2/g_1 on the spe ctrum structure are discussed. It is found that the spectra are influenced sensitively by the initi al field intensity and the photon number distribution.

Cavity Field Spectra of Two Different Atoms Interacting with Two-mode Field

Guiming Zhang, Gao Yun-feng

The cavity field spectrum of two atoms interacting with two-mode fields with different coupling constants(g_1≠g_2) was studied.By solving the eigen equation, the cavity field spectrum expression of the system was given out. Some numerical results for the fields in pure number state and the atoms in the upper level were presented initially. The effects of the relative coupling constant R=g_2/g_1 or photon number on the spectrum structure were analyzed. It is found that R plays a different role in the spectrum with field in vacuum state, weak state and strong state. The frequency of one mode field spectrum is tuned by the intensity of the other mode. The frequencies of two modes spectra can be changed by the relative coupling constant.

EMISSION SPECTRA OF TWO ATOMS INTERACTING WITH TWO MODES OF THE CAVITY FIELD THROUGH RAMAN PROCESS (g1≠g2)

Feng Jian, Song Tong-Qiang, Wenzheng Wang +2 more

Emission spectra of a pair of effective two-level atoms interacting with two modes of the cavity field through Raman interaction are studied, where the interaction of each atom with the field may be different. The spectra with two modes of the cavity field being initially in various number states are analysed in detail. It is found that emission spectra manifest following new properties: When mode 1 of the cavity field is in vacuum state and the other is in the weak field , the spectrum shows symmetric ten peaks and six peaks alternately, with the increase of R=g2/g1, which reflects the different Raman interacting intensities of two atoms with the cavity field more sensitively compared with the spectrum of two atoms in a single-mode cavity. The spectrum with 01=1, n2=50 and n1 = 50, n2=1 reflects the different positions of mode 1 and mode 2 of cavity field interacting with two atoms through Raman process. Finally, the symmetric 16-peaks structure of the spectrum is explained.

Cavity Field Spectra of Two Atoms Interacting with Two-mode Field in Coherent States

Gao Yun-feng

The cavity field spectra of two atoms interacting with two-mode field with different coupling constant via two-photon resonant transition processes are investigated. The results for the initial fields in coherent states are presented. The effects of relative coupling constant R=g_2/g_1 and initial field intensity on the spectrum structure are discussed. It is found that the each mode spectrum appears generally two peeks for weak initial fields and three peeks for strong fields.

Cavity Field Spectrum of Two Atoms Interacting with Squeezed Vacuum States in Kerr Medium

Gao Yun-feng

The cavity field spectra of two coupling atoms interacting with two squeezed vacuum states of field through Raman process in Kerr medium are studied.By solving the eigen equation, the cavity field spectrum expression is given out and some numerical results are presented. It is found that both the Kerr effect and the atoms coupling influence the spectra structures slightly in the case of weak input field. When the input fields are strong, the highest peak at lift with a multi-peak right sideband spectrum like a half comb appears.Along with the accretion of Kerr effect, the peak-space of the sideband increases and the spectral frequency shifts away from the resonant frequency.A multi-peak spectrum checkered with different height appears with the stronger Kerr effect.

Cavity Field Spectrum of Raman Interacting System between two Atoms and Coherent Field in Kerr Medium
