Abstract

The quantum secret sharing protocol based on the protocol presented by Bagherinezhad and Karimipour which had been shown to be insecure has been improved. The improved protocol not only solve the security problem but also save resource and increase detecting rate, and the most important character in the improved protocol is even if the eavesdropping had been gave up halfway, there still was some probability to detecting eavesdropping.

Eavesdropping in a quantum secret sharing protocol based on Grover algorithm and its solution

Jun Li

A detailed analysis has showed that the quantum secret sharing protocol based on the Grover algorithm (Phys Rev A, 2003, 68: 022306) is insecure. A dishonest receiver may obtain the full information without being detected. A quantum secret-sharing protocol is presents here, which mends the security loophole of the original secret-sharing protocol, and doubles the information capacity.

Improved Multipartite Quantum Secret Sharing Protocol Using Preshared Greenberger—Horne—Zeilinger States

Deng Xie, Ming-Yong Ye, Xinghua Li

Inspired by the protocol presented by Bagherinezhad and Karimipour [ Phys. Rev. A 67 (2003) 044302 ], which will be shown to be insecure, we present a multipartite quantum secret sharing protocol using reusable Greenberger—Horne—Zeilinger (GHZ) states. This protocol is robust against eavesdropping and could be used for the circumstance of many parties.

Single qubit quantum secret sharing with improved security

G.P. He, Z.D. Wang

Analyzing carefully an experimentally feasible non-entangled single qubit quantum secret sharing protocol and its modified version [Phys. Rev. Lett. 95, 230505 (2005); \textit{ibid}. 98, 028902 (2007)], it is found that both versions are insecure against coherent attacks though the original idea is so remarkable. To overcome this fatal flaw, here we propose a protocol with a distinct security checking strategy, which still involves single qubit operations only, making it possible to achieve better security of quantum secret sharing with current technology.

A Quantum Secret Sharing Scheme with High Efficiency Based on Bell States

Kai Li, Liu Yuanyuan, He Kehai +1 more

To improve the security of quantum cryptography protocol and reduce its cost, this paper presented a new means after analyzing the process of the detection of eavesdropping, and offered a quantum secret sharing protocol to argue for it. Players employed the travel particles carrying secret messages to detect eavesdropping, and leaked nothing about secret messages. Investigation shows that players can make the quantum cryptography protocol not only with theoretic efficiency of 100%, but also secure in case of none checking particles made for detection of eavesdropping only.

New Quantum Secret Sharing Protocol Using Entangled Qutrits

Yevhen Vasiliu, Igor V. Limar, Tomasz Gancarczyk +1 more

A new quantum secret sharing protocol based on the ping-pong protocol of quantum secure direct communication is proposed. The pairs of entangled qutrits are used in protocol, which allows an increase in the information capacity compared with protocols based on entangled qubits. The detection of channel eavesdropping used in the protocol is being implemented in random moments of time, thereby it is possible do not use the significant amount of quantum memory. The security of the proposed protocol to attacks is considered. A method for additional amplification of the security to an eavesdropping attack in communication channels for the developed protocol is proposed.
