Abstract

We propose a simple scheme for generating n-qubit W state via superconducting quantum interference devices in a single-mode cavity.Superconducting quantum interference devices interact with the cavity resonantly, and the resonant coupling strength is much stronger than other interaction strength,so the other interaction is negligible. Thus, generating n-qubit W state is achieved by only one step evolution. In the case of the decay is close to the coupling of the cavity with the superconducting quantum interference devices,we still generate n-qubit W state successfully.

Preparation of Entanglement and Schrödinger Cat States of Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices Qubits via Coupling to a Microwave Cavity

Wen‐Xing Yang

An alternative scheme is proposed for the generation of n-qubit W states of superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUID) in cavity QED. In this scheme, Raman coupling of two lower flux states of SQUID system is achieved via a microwave pulse and the cavity mode. Conditioned on no photon leakage from the cavity, the n-qubit W state can be generated whether the effective coupling parameters of the SQUID to cavity mode and classical microwave fields are the same or different. Our strictly numerical simulations of the time evolution of the system including decay show that the success probability of our scheme is almost unity and the interaction time is on the order of 10 −9 s. The scheme can also be used to generate the Schrödinger cat states of multi-SQUID.

Generating W State with Qubits of Superconducting Quantum Interference Devices via Adiabatic Passage

Xiao-Fang Ye, Meifeng Chen

A scheme is proposed to generate W state with qubits of superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs), based on adiabatic passage along dark state. Taking advantages of adiabatic passage, the scheme is very robust against decoherence, and it does not need to control the classical field and the interaction time accurately. Because of the achievable strong coupling between SQUID qubits and cavity, W state can be generated with high successful probability.

One step for generation of W-class states via superconducting quantum interference devices

Tao Wu

Because the property of a class of W state can be used as entanglement channel for realizing perfect teleportation and dense coding with the successful probability 100%,a simple scheme is presented for generating this W-class entangled state. It relies on the superconducting quantum interference devices(SQUIDs) simultaneously interacting with single-mode cavity field under resonant circumstances. The distinct feature lies in that the whole course of preparation only needs one step. The scheme can be implemented by the present cavity QED techniques.

Generation of an N-qubit cluster state via superconducting quantum interference devices

Gao Feng

We propose a model to implement the standard two-qubit quantum phase gate via a large detuned interaction of two superconducting quantum interference devices(SQUIDs) with a single-mode vacuum cavity-field.With the constructed phase gate,a scheme for generating an N-qubit cluster state is also presented. In our protocol, the quantum information is encoded in the ground states of two rf SQUIDs.During the interaction between the rf SQUIDs and the single-mode vacuum cavity-field,the effect of decoherence caused from the upper levels of the SQUID system is negligible due to fact that the excited states of the rf SQUIDs are adiabatically eliminated under large detuning condition. The experimental feasibility of the schemes is also discussed.

Generation of N -qubit W states with rf SQUID qubits by adiabatic passage

Z. J. Deng, K. Gao, Mang Feng

A simple scheme is presented to generate $N$-qubit $W$ states with rf superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUIDs) in cavity QED through adiabatic passage. Because of the achievable strong coupling for rf SQUID qubits embedded in cavity QED, we can get the desired state with high success probability. Furthermore, the scheme is insensitive to the position inaccuracy of the rf SQUID. Numerical simulation shows that, by using present experimental techniques, we can achieve our scheme with very high success probability, and the fidelity could eventually be unity with the help of dissipation.

Simple scheme for generating an n -qubit W state in cavity QED

Zhi Jiao Deng, Mang Feng, K. Gao

A simple scheme is proposed to generate an $n$-qubit $W$ state in cavity QED. Conditioned on no photon leakage from the cavity, the $n$-qubit $W$ state can be generated by resonant interaction between atoms and the cavity if the cavity is initially prepared in the single-photon state and all the atoms are in the ground states. We check the time evolution of the system involving decay, and show that, since the required interaction time is very short, with present cavity QED techniques, the success probability of our scheme is almost unity.
