Abstract

Motivated by quantum continuous-variable entanglement EPR states,a novel scheme for the anonymous sender and receiver transmissions of classical information is proposed. The entanglement states are travelling over separated participants to encode 1 bit classical message on the different models,w hose operations on the states correspond to their identities. The classical message is computed by the receiver and the adaptive participants' dishonest operations can be check out in the same round of communication,w hich avoids the participants w ho acted inconsistent in transmission process and detection process. The anonymities of the sender and receiver are perfectly preserved, and the privacy of the message is protected except w ith exponentially small probability.

Anonymous quantum communications using the quantum one-time pad

Qing-Le Wang, Fei- Gao, Bin Liu +2 more

We present the first quantum secure communication protocol for an anonymous receiver without the assistance of anonymous entanglement. In previous works, if a public sender wants to send quantum messages to a chosen receiver while protecting the identity of the receiver from others, all participants should cooperate first to construct the entanglement between the sender and the anonymous receiver. This is the most important process in anonymous quantum communications. With anonymous entanglement, the sender can communicate quantum messages to the anonymous receiver by applying teleportation protocols. In contrast, our protocol is novel and achieves communication of quantum messages directly from the public sender to the anonymous receiver based on the quantum one-time pad and current achievements. Notably, the anonymity of the receiver, as well as the privacy of the quantum messages, is perfectly protected with the exception of an exponentially small probability in our protocol.

Multi-participant quantum anonymous communication based on high-dimensional entangled states

Jiawei Liu, Qing-Xia Mu, Ronghua Che +3 more

Abstract Anonymous quantum communication (AQC) enables the secure transmission of quantum or classical messages between a sender and a receiver while ensuring the anonymity of their identities. Existing AQC protocols primarily address one-to-one anonymous communication. When there are multiple senders, they must send their messages sequentially to avoid collision problems. In this paper, we propose a multi-participant quantum anonymous communication (MQAC) by employing high-dimensional entangled states. In this protocol, multiple senders establish anonymous entanglement with multiple receivers of their choice and send quantum messages anonymously and simultaneously via quantum teleportation. To propose MQAC, we first present the toolbox we developed, which includes several sub-protocols such as the verification protocol, collision detection protocol, address distribution protocol, and notification protocol. These sub-protocols, which we propose, not only are important parts of MQAC but also serve as the foundation for solving many more complex tasks, such as anonymous commodity transaction. Additionally, the analysis of MQAC demonstrates that neither internal nor external attackers can steal the identities of the communication parties or the transmitted messages by employing any attack. Our work represents an original exploration of anonymous message transmission between multiple senders and receivers in quantum networks.

Privacy Preserving Quantum Anonymous Transmission via Entanglement Relay

Wei Yang, Liusheng Huang, Fang Song

Anonymous transmission is an interesting and crucial issue in computer communication area, which plays a supplementary role to data privacy. In this paper, we put forward a privacy preserving quantum anonymous transmission protocol based on entanglement relay, which constructs anonymous entanglement from EPR pairs instead of multi-particle entangled state, e.g. GHZ state. Our protocol achieves both sender anonymity and receiver anonymity against an active adversary and tolerates any number of corrupt participants. Meanwhile, our protocol obtains an improvement in efficiency compared to quantum schemes in previous literature.

Verifiable anonymous quantum communication with authentication based on d-level single-particle states

Jiawei Liu, Qing-Xia Mu, Qingle Wang +2 more

Abstract Anonymous quantum communication (AQC) enables the secure transmission of classical and quantum messages while preserving the anonymity of the sender, receiver, or both. Qudits, quantum states with more advantages than qubits in terms of information transmission rate and eavesdropping detection, offer promising capabilities. In this paper, we propose a verifiable AQC (VAQC) protocol utilizing d-level single-particle states, establishing anonymous entanglement between a public sender and an anonymous receiver. By using quantum teleportation, the public sender can transmit private information to his/her chosen anonymous receiver. The verifiable function of the proposed protocol guarantees the legitimacy of all participants’ identities and verifies the correctness of the anonymous entanglement. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the proposed VAQC protocol satisfies the requirements of correctness, anonymity, and security. The proposed VAQC protocol exhibits extensibility and can be extended to enable private communication between an anonymous sender and an anonymous receiver, as well as anonymous entanglement among multiple participants. This work lays the foundation for practical applications in achieving d-level anonymous entanglement and anonymous transmission of qudits.

An efficient quantum anonymous communication with hybrid entanglement swapping

Xiaoping Lou, Jun Feng Dai, Zhigang Chen +1 more

An efficient information-theoretically secure protocol is proposed. It is built for the anonymous transmission of quantum information. In our proposed scheme, a photon of hybrid entangled pairs is travelling through the participants. After operations performed by the participants, anonymous entanglement transmission channels are generated between the sender and receiver by hybrid entanglement swapping. Our protocol achieves both sender anonymity and receiver anonymity against an active adversary and tolerates any number of corrupt participants. Furthermore, we demonstrate that our protocol has great capacity to teleportate quantum message with fewer resources.

Quantum communications with an anonymous receiver

Wang Tian

A new protocol for the anonymous communication of quantum information is proposed. The anonymity of the receiver and the privacy of the quantum information are perfectly protected except with exponentially small probability in this protocol. Furthermore, this protocol uses single photons to construct anonymous entanglement instead of multipartite entangled states, and therefore it reduces quantum resources compared with the pioneering work.
