It propose a scheme for generating GHZ-type entangled states for atoms via adiabatic passage. The proposal is robust to atomic spontaneous emission noise.Similarly, the scheme can also be used to generate the GHZ states for cavities. The success probability is approximate 1.0.
A scheme is proposed to generate W state of N atoms trapped in a cavity, based on adiabatic passage along dark state. Taking advantage of adiabatic passage, the atoms have no probability of being excited and thus the atomic spontaneous emission is suppressed. The scheme is simple. It does not need to adjust the interaction time accurately, and does not need to prepare the cavity field in one-photon state. Numerical simulation shows that the successful probability of the scheme increases with the increasing of the atom number.
We propose a relatively robust scheme to implement quantum information transfer via adiabatic passage. When a Λ-type atom interacts with laser and cavity fields adiabatically, the state of the system evolves in a dark state.By the adiabatic passage,we can implement quantum information transfer of all the atomic states.Similarly, the scheme can be used to transfer a cavity mode state. The proposal is robust to restrain the atomic spontaneous emission noise, and transfers quantum information successfully.
A scheme is proposed to deterministically generate multi-atom Greenberger–Horne–Zeilinger (GHZ) states trapped in coupled cavities, which is based on the adiabatic passage of the dark state. The scheme does not need to adjust the interaction time accurately and is insensitive to the fluctuations of some experimental parameters. However, we should choose the appropriate Rabi frequencies of the classical fields to achieve the optimal characteristic of the system. In addition, we also demonstrate numerically that it is robust against decoherence caused by the cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission.
We propose a robust scheme to generate four-mode entangled states by using the method of adiabatic passage. Our scheme is more insensitive to certain practical sources of noise, such as randomness in the atom's position, atomic spontaneous emission. In addition, the Rabi frequencies of the classical field and interaction time need not to be accurately adjusted as long as the adiabatic condition is fulfilled. The fidelity for the prepared state is higher than 0.97 under current experimental parameters.
