Abstract

A simple scheme is presented for generating three-atom W state via nonresonant Jaynes-Cummings model. In the proposed protocol, it is injected two two-level atom initially prepared in the excited state and ground state through the cavity prepared in the vacuum state. The third two-level atom is prepared in the ground state and three two-level atom are injected into the second cavity prepared in the vacuum state. The experiment of the proposed scheme is feasible.

Generation of W State Via Two-photon Resonant Interaction between Atoms and Cavity Field

Deng-Yu Zhang

A simple scheme is presented for generating n atom W states with the two-photon resonant interaction between atoms and cavity field. In the proposed protocol,it is injected a two-level atom initially prepared in the excited state through the cavity prepared in the vacuum state. The other two-level atoms prepared in the ground state are injected into cavity.Because the interaction between the atoms and cavity field is resonant, the coupling strength can be relatively strong which will shorten the corresponding interaction time and thus reduce the effect of decoherence in experiment.

Preparation of Three-atom Entangled W StateVia Two-photon Jaynes-Cummings Model

Kehui Song

A scheme is presented to produce an entangled three-atom W state by means of two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model. It is shown that such a state can easily be obtained by controlling the interaction time of atom-cavity-field. It is pointed out that this model is more advantageous in generating tripartite particle entangled W state than in GHZ state. In addition, an analysis of the experimental feasibility is presented within the realm of cavity QED.

A Universal Cloning Machine of Atomic State via Nonresonant Jaynes-Cummings model

Shao-Hua Xiang

A scheme for implementing a universal 1→2 quantum cloning machine is proposed. The process of the cloner is achieved through the nonresonant Jaynes-Cummings model of atoms simultaneously interacting with single-mode cavity field in the vacuum state. The proposed scheme only requires three single-mode cavity fields and one classical field, thus it is easier to be realized in experiment by using cavity QED technique. The experimental feasibility of the proposed scheme is also discussed.

Generation of a supersinglet of three three-level atoms in cavity QED

Guang-Sheng Jin, Shu‐Shen Li, Songlin Feng +1 more

We propose a scheme to generate a supersinglet of three three-level atoms in microwave cavity quantum electrodynamics based on the resonant atom-cavity interaction. In the scheme, three three-level atoms in suitable initial states are sequentially sent through three cavities originally prepared in their vacuum states. After an appropriate atom-cavity interaction process, in the subsequent measurement on the third cavity field the atoms are projected onto the desired supersinglet. The practical feasibility of this method is discussed.

Generation of W atomic states assisted by cavities

E. M. Becerra-Castro, Wesley Bueno Cardoso, Ardiley Torres Avelar +1 more

We present an experimental scheme to generate a class of entangled atomic W states useful for perfect teleportation and superdense coding. It employs three two-level (Rydberg) atoms crossing two nonresonant cavities in such a way that the first and second (the second and third) atoms are entangled via atomic collision in the first (second) cavity. The experimental realization with current technology is discussed.
