THE HYDRODYNAMIC REPRESENTATION OF THE FEYNMAN AND GELL-MANN EQUATION

OpenAlex

Abstract

ABS>A hydrodynamic representation was established for the Dirac equation, eliminating the wave functions and including only physical magnitudes. It is shown, in the present article, that a hydrodyramic representation can also be obtained for the Feynman and Gell-Mann equation. This representation, with some corrective terms, agrees with that of the Pauli and Dirac equations. (tr- auth)

A PHYSICAL MODEL OF THE QUANTUM WAVE

J. C. Aron

It has been established that the energy density derived from the Pauli equation shows an interaction between the spins of neighboring elements, tending to re-establish the parallelism. The spin fluctuations are propagated slowly by this action. In the present work, it is shown that from the hydrodynamic representation of the Dirac equation and the Feynnnan and Gell-Mann equation solutions can be derived which correspond to a vibration. The Quantum Hydrodynamic Formulation of Dirac Equation and Its Generalized Stochastic and Non-linear Analogs

Piero Chiarelli

The quantum hydrodynamic like equations as a function of two real sets of variables, the 4x4 action matrix and the 4 dimensional wave function modulus vector of the Dirac equation, are derived in the present work. The paper shows that in the low velocity limit the equations lead to the hydrodynamic representation of the Pauli equation for charged particle with spin given by Janossy and by Bialynicki. The Lorentz invariance of the relativistic quantum potential that generates the non-local behavior of the quantum mechanics is discussed.

Relativistic Landau levels via Feynman-Gell-Mann formulation

V. B. Mendrot, Antonio S. de Castro

Relativistic energy levels for a spin-1/2 fermion in a stationary and homogeneous magnetic field, namely the Landau levels, are obtained via the Feynman-Gell-Mann formulation of the Dirac equation using the axially symmetric gauge, such that the radial functions obey a similar equation to the one of a singular harmonic oscillator in the nonrelativistic theory.

Relativistic quantum vorticity of the quadratic form of the Dirac equation

Felipe A. Asenjo, S. M. Mahajan

We explore the fluid version of the quadratic form of the Dirac equation, sometimes called the Feynman–Gell-Mann equation. The dynamics of the quantum spinor field is represented by equations of motion for the fluid density, the velocity field, and the spin field. In analogy with classical relativistic and non-relativistic quantum theories, the fully relativistic fluid formulation of this equation allows a vortex dynamics. The vortical form is described by a total tensor field that is the weighted combination of the inertial, electromagnetic and quantum forces. The dynamics contrives the quadratic form of the Dirac equation as a total vorticity free system.

THE SUM OVER TRAJECTORIES FOR DIRAC EQUATION

G. V. Ryazanov

It is shown that under some assumptions concerning the motion of an electron, the Feynman sum over trajectories is identical with the propagation function of the Dirac equation. (tr-auth)
