Abstract

We investigate the influence of the dynamical decoupling pulses on the quantum correlations in a superconducting system consisting of two noninteracting qubits interacting with their own data buses. It is found that the geometric discord and entanglement between the two superconducting qubits can be increased by applying a train of π-phase pulses. We then proceed to explore how the decoupling pulses affect the quantum transfer of information between the two superconducting qubits by making use of the change of trace distance.更多还原

Enhancement of geometric discord for the system of superconducting qubits and transfer of quantum information

We investigate how quantum measurements affect the dynamics of quantum correlations of the system which consists of two noninteracting superconducting qubits each locally coupling to its own data bus. It is shown that the geometric discord and entanglement between two superconducting qubits can be increased by applying a sequence of selective measurements. The optimal measurement time at which the quantum correlations achieve their maximal values is also analyzed. Moreover, we find that the selective measurements on the data buses can protect quantum information of two superconducting qubits and force information to flow back to the superconducting qubits from the data buses by a witness of the trace distance.

Ehancement of quantum coherence and three-body entanglement by dynamical decoupling pulses

HE Qi-liang, DING Min, Song Xiao-Shu +1 more

The influence of dynamical decoupling pulses on the quantum coherence, quantum entanglement and quantum discord in cavity quantum electrodynamics system is investigated. We find that the quantum coherence and non-classical correlations (entanglement and quantum discord) between two atoms can be increased by applying a train of dynamical decoupling pulses. Furthermore, by making use of the trace distance, we also explore the reason for enhancement of quantum coherence of two atoms. It is shown that the dynamical decoupling pulses can control and accelerate the return of quantum information from other subsystems to two atoms, and reduce the flow of quantum information between two atoms and other subsystems, which leads to the increase of quantum coherence and non-classical correlations between two atoms. Finally, we investigate the three-body entanglement of the system by using state preparation fidelity. It demonstrates that the genuine three-body entanglement may emerge in the system during the evolution of time. In particular, the period of emergence of three-body entanglement can be adjusted and enhanced by dynamical decoupling pulses.

Control of the frozen geometric quantum correlation and quantum coherence in dissipative superconducting quantum circuit

WU Chun-Yan, Song Xiao-Shu, LÜ Bing +1 more

We investigate the influence of time-dependent electromagnetic field on the geometric quantum correlation and quantum coherence between two superconducting qubits in an open superconducting quantum circuit system. It is shown that the freezing of geometric quantum correlation will occur after the addition of magnetic field, and the freezing time will be extended with the addition of time-dependent electromagnetic field. In addition, the influence of time-dependent electromagnetic field on the quantum information flow between superconducting qubits and the environment is discussed by using trace distance method. It is found that the time-dependent electromagnetic fields can suppress the effect of the environment and slow down the exchange of the quantum information flows between the superconducting qubits and the environment.

STUDY ON QUANTUM CORRELATIONS FOR CIRCUIT QED STATES

Y. H. JI, Y. M. Liu

We investigate the dynamic evolution behaviors of entanglement and geometric quantum discord of coupled superconducting qubits in circuit QED system. We carefully analyze the effect of cavity field quantum state on the quantum entanglement and quantum correlations dynamic behaviors of coupling superconducting qubits. The results show that when the cavity field is in coherent state, with the average photon number increasing, the quantum discord death (including entanglement death) would become more difficult to appear, that is to say prolonging the survival time of quantum correlations will be a benefit for keeping the quantum correlations. When the cavity field is in squeezed state, the squeezed amplitude parameters are all too big or too small to keep the system quantum correlations. However, the further study results show that with the initial relative phase of coupling superconducting increasing, qubits can also keep the quantum correlations.

Enhancement of quantum correlations for the system of cavity QED by applying bang-bang pulses

Hang-Shi Xu, Jing‐Bo Xu

We propose a scheme of increasing quantum correlations for the cavity quantum electrodynamics system consisting of two noninteracting two-level atoms each locally interacting with its own quantized field mode by bang-bang pulses. We investigate the influence of the bang-bang pulses on the dynamics of quantum discord, entanglement, quantum mutual information and classical correlation between the two atoms. It is shown that the amount of quantum discord and entanglement of the two atoms can be improved by applying the bang-bang pulses.
