Abstract

We investigate the influence of time-dependent electromagnetic field on the geometric quantum correlation and quantum coherence between two superconducting qubits in an open superconducting quantum circuit system. It is shown that the freezing of geometric quantum correlation will occur after the addition of magnetic field, and the freezing time will be extended with the addition of time-dependent electromagnetic field. In addition, the influence of time-dependent electromagnetic field on the quantum information flow between superconducting qubits and the environment is discussed by using trace distance method. It is found that the time-dependent electromagnetic fields can suppress the effect of the environment and slow down the exchange of the quantum information flows between the superconducting qubits and the environment.

Sudden change of the geometric quantum discord and quantum coherence in dissipative superconducting circuit systems with the time-dependent electromagnetic field

Abstract We investigate the influence of a time-dependent electromagnetic field (TDEF) on the double sudden change of the 1-norm geometric quantum discord (GQD) and sudden change of quantum coherence for superconducting circuit systems under spontaneous emission, where two superconducting qubits are each coupled to their own LC circuit or uniformly coupled to a common LC circuit, respectively. It is shown that the double sudden change of the GQD can be controlled, and the frozen time during which the GQD keeps nearly constant can be lengthened by applying the TDEF. Furthermore, we also find that the TDEF can delay the ‘critical point’ of sudden change for quantum coherence and slow down the decay of quantum coherence. Finally, we explore how the TDEF affects the superconducting circuits system’s information flow by using trace distance and the optimal control scheme is sought by comparing the two coupled modes.

Dynamical decoupling pulses on the quantum correlations for the system of superconducting quantum circuit

王冬梅, 钱懿, 许晶波 +1 more

We investigate the influence of the dynamical decoupling pulses on the quantum correlations in a superconducting system consisting of two noninteracting qubits interacting with their own data buses. It is found that the geometric discord and entanglement between the two superconducting qubits can be increased by applying a train of π-phase pulses. We then proceed to explore how the decoupling pulses affect the quantum transfer of information between the two superconducting qubits by making use of the change of trace distance.更多还原

Control of the quantum interference in a superconducting qubit system

Hao Ying, Da-Wei Luo, Jing‐Bo Xu

We propose a scheme to control quantum interference pattern in a system of a superconducting qubit coupled to its own data bus by applying a controllable time-dependent electromagnetic field. It is shown that the quantum interference induced by the initial phase difference is closely related to the quantum correlations between two superconducting qubits which are coupled to their own data bus and the geometric discord can also be increased by applying the controllable electromagnetic field.

Quantum coherence in a superconducting circuit coupled with a dissipative cavity field

Shixian Chen, Xiaojie Li, Kaixuan Wu +1 more

Abstract Quantum coherence represents a basic feature of a quantum system that is not present in the classical world. Here, we explore the dynamic behaviors of quantum coherence in two charge qubits who are strongly coupled with a single-mode dissipative cavity field. The results show that quantum coherence is sensitive to the coupled system parameters including qubit dissipation rate, initial qubit distribution angle, and coherent state intensity of the cavity field. Additionally, during the dynamic evolution, quantum coherence behaves periodically in the case of the qubit distribution angle, and this periodicity depends on the qubit dissipation rate. Also, the increasing coherent state intensity of cavity field can enhance the magnitude of quantum coherence, meaning that coherence resource in dissipative solid state quantum system can be controlled to some extent. This controllable coherence resource in engineering applications may quantify the advantage enabled in the superconducting circuit for processing the remarkable quantum information tasks.

Enhancement of geometric discord for the system of superconducting qubits and transfer of quantum information

Dong-Mei Wang, Hang-Shi Xu, Jing‐Bo Xu +1 more

We investigate how quantum measurements affect the dynamics of quantum correlations of the system which consists of two noninteracting superconducting qubits each locally coupling to its own data bus. It is shown that the geometric discord and entanglement between two superconducting qubits can be increased by applying a sequence of selective measurements. The optimal measurement time at which the quantum correlations achieve their maximal values is also analyzed. Moreover, we find that the selective measurements on the data buses can protect quantum information of two superconducting qubits and force information to flow back to the superconducting qubits from the data buses by a witness of the trace distance.
