One-cavity scheme enabling to implement delayed choice for entanglement swapping in cavity QED

Abstract

Abstract In this paper we present a simplified scheme to implement entanglement swapping in the context of cavity QED. The scheme presented here has the advantage of being much simpler than those presented previously, and can easily be adapted to perform the delayed choice for entanglement swapping, thus enabling one to also demonstrate time-like entanglement in the cavity QED domain. In contrast to previous schemes, our proposal uses just one high-Q cavity, besides the usual circular Rydberg atoms, Ramsey zones and selective atomic state detectors. The simplicity of our scheme makes it feasible with current QED technology, making it attractive from the experimental point of view for demonstrating entanglement swapping both in the conventional and in the delayed choice manner.

Cavity QED Scheme for Realizing Entanglement Swapping

Zhen‐Biao Yang

A new scheme is proposed for realizing entanglement swapping in cavity QED. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of two-mode cavity with ∧-type three-level atom, and it involves only a single measurement. In the scheme, the output state after swapping is exactly the maximally entangled state in principle, thus it is prior to the previous one, in which the output state is just approximate. Calculations indicate that our scheme is less influenced by an error.

Entanglement swapping without joint measurement

Ming Yang, Wei Song, Zhuo‐Liang Cao

We propose an entanglement swapping scheme in cavity QED. In the scheme, the previously used joint measurement is not needed. The entanglement swapping in our proposal is a non-post-selection one, i.e., after the swapping is done, the swapped entanglement is still there.

Realization of Entanglement Swapping in Cavity QED

Jun Li

We propose an entanglement swapping scheme in cavity QED.The different degree entanglement between atoms that never directly interacted can be realized, the unknown entanglement state can be transferred on atoms that never directly interacted. In the scheme, the previously used joint measurement is not needed.Only single measurement on atom is needed in realizing the swapping process.During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay.

Cavity QED Scheme for Realizing Entanglement Swapping

Yang Zhen

A new scheme is proposed for realizing entanglement swapping in cavity QED.The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of two-mode cavity with Λ-type three-level atom, and it involves only a single measurement. In the scheme, the output state after swapping is exactly the maximally entangled state in principle, thus it is prior to the previous one,in which the output state is just approximate.Calculations indicate that our scheme is less influenced by an error.

Entanglement swapping without joint measurement via a Λ-type atom interacting with bimodal cavity field

Lin Xiu, Hongcai Li, Rong‐Can Yang +1 more

This paper proposes a scheme for realizing entanglement swapping in cavity QED. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a two-mode cavity field with a Λ-type three-level atom. In contrast with the previously proposed schemes, the present scheme is ascendant, since the fidelity is 1.0 and the joint measurement isn't needed. And the scheme is experimentally feasible based on the current cavity QED technique.

Implementing Entanglement Swapping with Trapped Atoms via Cavity Decay

Xiu‐Min Lin, Bo Hao Yu, Zheng-Wei Zhou +2 more

With trapped atoms, we propose an experimental scheme to implement entanglement swapping based on adiabatic passage and the detection of cavity decay. This scheme is inherently robust to diverse sources of noise, such as atomic spontaneous emission, or detector inefficiency. The advantages make it realizable with the current experimental technology.
