Cavity QED Scheme for Realizing Entanglement Swapping

Abstract

A new scheme is proposed for realizing entanglement swapping in cavity QED. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of two-mode cavity with ∧-type three-level atom, and it involves only a single measurement. In the scheme, the output state after swapping is exactly the maximally entangled state in principle, thus it is prior to the previous one, in which the output state is just approximate. Calculations indicate that our scheme is less influenced by an error.

Entanglement swapping without joint measurement via a Λ-type atom interacting with bimodal cavity field

Lin Xiu, Hongcai Li, Rong‐Can Yang +1 more

This paper proposes a scheme for realizing entanglement swapping in cavity QED. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a two-mode cavity field with a Λ-type three-level atom. In contrast with the previously proposed schemes, the present scheme is ascendant, since the fidelity is 1.0 and the joint measurement isn't needed. And the scheme is experimentally feasible based on the current cavity QED technique.

Scheme for Quantum Entanglement Swapping on Cavity QED System

Changyong Chen, Yan Yu

We propose a scheme for realizing quantum entanglement swapping between the atoms in cavity QED. With only virtual excitation of the cavity during the interaction between the atoms and cavity, the scheme is insensitive to the cavity mode states and the cavity decay. The ideas can also be utilized for realizing entanglement swapping between the atomic levels in a single atom and the atomic levels in the Bell states and between the atomic levels in the Bell states and the atomic levels in the W states.

Realization of Entanglement Swapping in Cavity QED

Jun Li

We propose an entanglement swapping scheme in cavity QED.The different degree entanglement between atoms that never directly interacted can be realized, the unknown entanglement state can be transferred on atoms that never directly interacted. In the scheme, the previously used joint measurement is not needed.Only single measurement on atom is needed in realizing the swapping process.During the interaction between atom and cavity, the cavity is only virtually excited and thus the scheme is insensitive to the cavity field states and cavity decay.

The Scheme of Entanglement Swapping in two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model

Liu Hong

Based on the interaction of atoms and two-photon in cavity QED,the author proposes an entanglement swapping scheme without joint measurement using a two-photon Jaynes-Cummings model.By means of entanglement swapping,we get a nonmaximally entangled pair between an atom and a cavity mode which previously have not any interaction with each other.Through entanglement concentration,we can obtain a maximally entangled state. It can be used in quantum information processing.

Scheme for Generation of Maximally Entangled States via Entanglement Swapping

Wu, Zhenzhen, Fang +3 more

Based on two atoms and two cavities initially in two pairs of atom-photon nonmaximally entangled states, we propose a relatively simple scheme to create maximally entangled photon-photon and atom-photon states via entanglement swapping using techniques of cavity QED inspired by the scheme proposed in [Phys. Rev. A 71 (2005)044302] and [Phys. Rev. A 71 (2005) 034312]. Our scheme does not involve the measurement in Bell basis, we only require detecting the states of atoms.
