Lax Pair for the Free‐Fermion Eight‐Vertex Model

Abstract

An explicit result on the quantum Lax pair for the eight‐vertex free‐fermion model with external fields in both directions is exhibited. Its relation to the quantum spectral transform and its corresponding Hamiltonian—theXYmodel with a transverse field—is discussed. The Yang‐Baxter relation is computed, and the equations of motion are solved.

The Lax pair for the fermionic Bazhanov-Stroganov R-operator

A. Melikyan, G. Weber

We derive the Lax connection of the free fermion model on a lattice starting from the fermionic formulation of Bazhanov-Stroganov's three-parameter elliptic parametrization for the R-operator. It results in the Yang-Baxter and decorated Yang-Baxter equations of difference type in one of the spectral parameters, which is the most suitable form to obtain any relativistic model of free fermions in the continuous limit.

A Free-Fermion Type Solution of Quantum Dynamical Yang–Baxter Equation

Ju Guo-Xing, Luo XuDong, Wang ShiKun +1 more

The symmetries of the quantum dynamical Yang-Baxter (QDYB) equation without spectral parameters for gl(2) are discussed. The classification of the six-vertex type solutions to the QDYB equation without spectral parameters is given and a free-fermion type solution is obtained.

Yang-Baxterization of the eight-vertex model: the braid group approach

Mo -L Ge, Leh-Hun Gwa, Hong-K Zhao

The braid group representation (BGR) for the eight-vertex model is solved for the case in which the total spins are not conserved. A Yang-Baxterization scheme is applied to obtain from these BGR the spectral-dependent solution; they are found to correspond to the free-fermion and the disorder-point solutions.

Quantum Inverse Scattering Method and Yang-Baxter Relation for Integrable Spin Systems

Kiyoshi Sogo, Miki Wadati

The Lax pair for spin 1/2 Heisenberg XYZ model is presented. This gives a basis for the quantum inverse scattering method. A generalization of the Yang-Baxter relation to arbitrary spin is presented through the factorized S-matrix theory. An equivalent vertex model is solved exactly by the quantum inverse scattering method.
