Abstract

Entanglement dynamics of a two-qutrit Heisenberg spin chain with the external magnetic fields and DM interaction under the intrinsic decoherence is investigated. Depending on whether there is inhomogeneous magnetic field, the entanglement amplification, i.e. the phenomenon that the finally stable entanglement is bigger than that of the initial one, is found for one kind of initial states. The reasons for the controllable entanglement amplification are discussed.

Properties and coherence-controlling of entanglement of a two-qubit Heisenberg XY chain with intrinsic decoherence

Chunlei Jiang, Xiaojuan Liu, Mingwei Liu +2 more

By solving the Milburn equation, we investigate the thermal entanglement properties of a two-qubit Heisenberg XY chain in the presence of intrinsic decoherence. The controls of nonuniform magnetic field, the initial state of two qubits, the relative phases and the amplitudes of the polarized qubits on thermal entanglement are studied. The results show that for a particular initial state, the thermal entanglement can be increased by the external magnetic field. The time behavior of the entanglement exhibits a strong dependence on the initial state of two qubits, and it can be manipulated by changing the relative phase and the amplitudes of the polarized qubits. It is also notable that stable entanglement, which is dependent on initial state of the qubit, occurs even in the presence of decoherence. The magnetic field may have a constructive effect on the stable entanglement for a certain initial state, and the Bell-diagonal state turns out to be a dark state of the system in the absence of the magnetic field.

The effect of exponential variable magnetic field on the entanglement dynamics of a two-qutrit system with Dzyloshinsky–Moriya interaction in a spin environment

mahboubeh vaez, Mostafa Sahrai, Azar Vafafard

Abstract In this study, we investigate the entanglement dynamics of two qutrits under Dzyloshinsky–Moriya (DM) interaction within a spin-qubit environment, influenced by two identical time-dependent external magnetic fields described by B ( 1 − e − γ t ) . To quantify the entanglement between the two spin qutrits, we employ the Holstein–Primakoff transformation to compute the negativity measure. Our analysis reveals that the entanglement dynamics are affected by various factors, including the initial states of the spin environment and the qutrits, the system-environment coupling strength, the strength of the DM interaction, and the intensity of the external magnetic field. Notably, we find that increasing the spin coherence amplitude and the intensity of the magnetic field contributes to the stabilization of entanglement. In the weak coupling regime, an increase in the DM interaction enhances entanglement, irrespective of whether a magnetic field is present. Conversely, in the strong coupling regime, an increase in the DM interaction negatively impacts entanglement, regardless of the presence or absence of a magnetic field.

Study the Entanglement Dynamics of an Anisotropic Two-Qubit Heisenberg XYZ System in a Magnetic Field

Amena Rezk Mohammed, Tarek M. El-Shahat

We investigate the entanglement dynamics of an anisotropic two-qubit Heisenberg XYZ system with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction in the presence of both inhomogeneity of the external magnetic field b and intrinsic decoherence which has been studied. The behavior of quantum correlation and the degree of entanglement between the two subsystems is quantified by using measurement-induced disturbance (MID), negativity (N) and Quantum Discord (QD), respectively. It is shown that in the presence of an inhomogeneity external magnetic field occur the phenomena of long-lived entanglement. It is found that the initial state is the essential role in the time evolution of the entanglement.

Entanglement dynamics of a Heisenberg chain with Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction

Qiang Zheng, Xiaoping Zhang, Qi‐Jun Zhi +1 more

This paper investigates the entanglement dynamics of the system, composed of two qubits A and B with Heisenberg XX spin interactation. There is a third controller qubit C, which only has Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya (DM) spin-orbit interaction with the qubit B. It is found that depending on the initial state of the controller qubit C and DM interaction, the entanglement of the system displays amplification and sudden birth effects. These effects indicate that one can control the entanglement of the system, which may be helpful for quantum information processing.

Effects of inhomogeneous magnetic field on entanglement and teleportation in a two-qubit HeisenbergXXZchain with intrinsic decoherence

Jin‐Liang Guo, He‐Shan Song

We studied the effects of inhomogeneous magnetic field on entanglement and teleportation in a two-qubit Heisenberg XXZ chain with intrinsic decoherence taken into account. The dependences of the entanglement and fully entangled fraction on the inhomogeneous magnetic fields b and time t are investigated in detail. The contrast between different initial states, including pure and mixed states, is presented.

Two Qubits Entanglement Dynamics in 1D Heisenberg Chain with Intrinsic Decoherence

Jian Zou

To reveal how the decoherence modifies the time evolution of the entanglement of quantum system, the intrinsic decoherence approach and the entanglement of formation are used, and the time evolution of entanglement for two-qubit 1D quantum Heisenberg model in an external uniform magnetic field is derived. It is shown that the external magnetic field can strengthen the effects of the intrinsic decoherence on the entanglement of the system.
