Hamiltonian factorization on the quantum phase space

Abstract

Abstract Using a special phase space representation, we propose a factorization of the Hamiltonian in this representation in spite of its more complex structure. Also, based on the link existing between the intertwining technique and SUSY we find the phase space supercharges and the supersymmetric partner Hamiltonian. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Ladder operators and boundary conditions

The factorization method, related to supersymmetry in quantum mechanics and Lie algebras, is revisited, and the representations and properties of ladder operators originated from “natural” and “nonnatural” boundary conditions is discussed. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Hidden nonassociative structure in supersymmetric quantum mechanics

Джунушалиев Владимир Джумакадырович

Abstract It is shown that the Hamilton equations in supersymmetric quantum mechanics can be presented in nonassociative form, where the Hamiltonian is decomposed into two nonassociative factors.

Gamow dyads and expectation values

Manuel Gadella, Roberto Laura

We analyze the possibilities to define density operators for the Gamow vectors in order to extend this concept to the Liouville space. We shall study the properties of the dyadic products of Gamow vectors and see that there exist difficulties if we try to obtain a Gamow density in Liouville space by factorizing Gamow vectors. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Features of Complex Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics

Aishwarya Parthasarathi

The study of the non-Hermitian Hamiltonian systems within the framework of Supersymmetric Quantum mechanics (SUSY QM) has been carried out in literature in the last decade. Most of these potentials are either PT Symmetric or quasi-Hermitian in nature. But no formulation is advanced in literature to the study of general complex potentials within its framework. In this paper, using the complex phase space approach, we carry out the complexification of Supersymmetric Quantum Mechanics to enable the study of any general non-Hermitian Hamiltonian system within its framework. The commutation relations among its operators are enumerated and the underlying symmetry is discussed. The eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the real and imaginary parts of superpartner Hamiltonians are also investigated.

Higher-order supersymmetric quantum mechanics

David J. Fernández C.

We review the higher‐order supersymmetric quantum mechanics (H‐SUSY QM), which involves differential intertwining operators of order greater than one. The iterations of first‐order SUSY transformations are used to derive in a simple way the higher‐order case. The second order technique is addressed directly, and through this approach unexpected possibilities for designing spectra are uncovered. The formalism is applied to the harmonic oscillator: the corresponding H‐SUSY partner Hamiltonians are ruled by polynomial Heisenberg algebras which allow a straight construction of the coherent states.
