Abstract

In similar to the derivation of phase angle operator conjugate to the number operator by Arroyo Carrasco–Moya Cessay we deduce the Hermitian phase operators that are conjugate to the two-mode number-difference operator and the three-mode number combination operator. It is shown that these operators are on the same footing in the entangled state representation as the one of Turski in the coherent state representation.

A Hermitian Opetator Conjugate to Two-Mode Number-Difference Operator

Hong-Yi Fan, Yihua Wang

For the Shapiro-Wagner-Hradil phase detection description the canonical commutation relation between phase angle ψ and two-mode number-difference operator D = a † a - b † b is constructed. Departing from [ ψ , D ] = - i , the phase angle Hermitian operator is derived in the newly obtained representation ⟨ ξ |, where| ξ ⟩ is the common eigenket of a + b † and b + a † .

A Hermitian operator conjugate to the number operator

M. L. Arroyo Carrasco, H. M. Moya-Cessa

It is shown that, departing from Dirac's intensity - phase commutator, a Hermitian operator can be found, conjugate to the number operator, N. We also show that this operator is equivalent to that given by Turski.

Two-Mode Phase Operator and Phase State Studied in Number-Difference Orthonormal Representation

Fan Hong‐Yi, Zou Hui

We study the properties of two-mode phase operator and the phase state by constructing the number-difference orthonormal state . We prove that constitutes a complete and orthonormal representation (number-difference representation). We show that two-mode phase operator exhibits its phase behavior explicitly in the number-difference representation, which resembles the single-mode phase operator . The corresponding phase state is also studied.

One-Sided Squeezing for Two Special Kinds of Tripartite Entangled States

Fan Hong‐Yi, Weijun Gui

Based on two mutual conjugate tripartite entangled states and we generalize the two-mode one-sided squeezing operators to three-mode case. We derive how the tripartite entangled states transform under the three-mode squeezing operators. We conclude that the entangled state representations provide a convenient basis for deriving various three-mode squeezing operators.

One-Sided Squeezing for Two Special Kinds of Tripartite Entangled States

Based on two mutual conjugate tripartite entangled states |η, σ〉θ and |ζ, τ〉θ we generalize the two-mode one-sided squeezing operators to three-mode case. We derive how the tripartite entangled states transform under the three-mode squeezing operators. We conclude that the entangled state representations provide a convenient basis for deriving various three-mode squeezing operators.
