Abstract

We introduce the Wigner operator [Formula: see text] for the rotated quadrature phases and use the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators to derive its explicitly simpler form. Based on this, the mutual relations between [Formula: see text] and the corresponding marginal probability distribution operator can be easily revealed. The Wigner function theory is thus be recasted into a more elegant and concise formalism. The squeezing in rotated quadrature phase is discussed with the same method.

New Representation for Squeezing-Rotating Entangled Unitary Transformation

Fan Hong-Yi, Fan Yue

We introduce a new unitary operator which can engender a squeezing and rotating entangled transformation. The operator has a concise expression in a new representation in two-mode Fock space. The normally ordered form of can be derived by using the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators. The fluctuation in quadrature phases for these squeezing-rotating entangled states are analyzed.

Wigner function and probability distribution for shifted and squeezed quadratures

Stefano Mancini, Vladimir I. Man’ko, P. Tombesi

The probability distribution for rotated, squeezed and shifted quadratures is shown to be expressed in terms of the Wigner function (as well as in terms of the Q-function and density operator in the coordinate representation). The inverse transformation generalizing the homodyne detection formula is obtained.

A new formalism of the squeeze operator and various representations and properties of the squeezed state

Fan Huang, Guo Guo

A new formalism of the squeeze operator has been found by integration within normal ordered products. Based on this formalism, the essence of the formation of the squeezed state can be revealed directly and clearly. Various representations and properties of the squeezed state can be derived easily. It has been proved that the squeezed state is a coherent one in the quasiparticle space. The transformation relationship between squeezed states and eigenstates of both coordinate and momentum operators are presented. Also presented is the Wigner distribution function of the squeezed state.

New approach for obtaining the squeezing-enhanced state and its Wigner function by virtue of the Weyl–Wigner quantization scheme

Hong-Yi Fan, Hong‐Chun Yuan, Xue-xiang Xu +1 more

By virtue of the Weyl?Wigner quantization scheme, we derive the explicit form of the squeezing-enhanced state without disentangling the generalized squeezing operator where Q and P are two quadratures of the light field; this approach is convenient and concise. By virtue of the Weyl-ordering invariance under similar transformations, the Wigner function of the squeezing-enhanced state is derived and its figure is depicted, which clearly exhibits the squeezing enhancement.

HU Xiao-guang

In this paper,we propose a new kind of one-mode rotated and squeezed state, figure out its wigner function by virtue of the presented wigner operator, and further give the corresponding wigner marginal distribution. From the distribution,we can see that the marginal distribution of this squeezed state in coordinate or momentum space is the gaussian distribution.

Squeezing for n -Mode Quadratures Studied by Integration Within an Ordered Product Technique

Hong-Yi Fan, Nai-Le Liu

The squeezing operator S (n) and the corresponding squeezed state |0⟩ s for n -mode quadrature operators are founded. The normally ordered form of S (n) is derived by means of the technique of integration within an ordered product of operators. Moreover, the existence of higher-order squeezing for n-mode quadratures in the state |0⟩ s is demonstrated.
